Benat Etxebarria: A Brief Biography
Beñat Etxebarria Urkiaga commonly known as a Beñat, is a Spanish football midfielder who plays for Real Betis. He started his prolific youth ranks career at Athletic Bilbao along with Benat played his first-and only-La Liga game against CA Osasuna in a 1-1 away draw in October 2006. In the following season , he initially played with various teams, he played with UB Conquense in the third division after he was released by from Athletic in the season 2008-09 and signed with Real Betis, where he made his debut for Betis main squad against Granada CF and assisting on a Salva Sevilla goal in August 2010. Thereafter he scored twice win at Sevilla FC for the local derby. Although Beñat Etxebarria represented his country the Spanish youth teams at Under-17 level and becoming the first Betis player since Juanito to don the national team shirt, virtually four years later.
