Brusdar Graterol was born in Calabozo, Venezuela, on August 26, 1998. He competes in Major League Baseball as a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Brusdar Graterol became an international free agent and signed with the Minnesota Twins in 2014. In 2015, he made his professional baseball debut in the Dominican Summer League with the Dominican Summer League Twins. In his debut season, he made four starts and went 0-1 with a 2.45 ERA. He had Tommy John surgery, which prevented him from playing in the 2016 campaign. After fully recovering in 2017, he pitched for the Elizabethton and Gulf Coast Twins, going 4-1 with a 2.70 ERA in ten games, including seven starts. Later, the Twins promoted Graterol to the Major Leagues on September 1, 2019, and made his debut the same day. He was then traded to the Dodgers in 2020. Graterol played in 68 games in the 2023 season with a stellar 1.20 ERA and seven saves. Graterol won the World Series Championship with the Dodgers in 2020.
