Carlton Cole: A Brief Biography

Carlton Michael Cole Okirie is an English football player who plays for West Ham United as a striker. Cole started his career at Chelsea in 2001, During five years, Carlton performed for ‘The Blues’, but his career in the London side squad was unbeaten. In 2002, he transferred to Wolverhampton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic and Aston Villa on loan from Chelsea where he made 27 games and fired three goals during 2001-06. Thereafter he moved to West Ham United in 2006 where he spent six years and made 180 appearances as well as netted forty-five times. Although Cole made 19 England U21 appearances, scored six goals and made his full international debut for the England national football team in a friendly game against Spain in 2009.
