Background
Oleksandr Zinchenko is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays for Manchester City and the Ukrainian National Team. He was born on 15th December, 1996 in Radomyshl, Ukraine.
Career
Zinchenko is a product of Youth Sporitve School Karpatiya of his native Radomyshl FC Monolit Illichivsk and FC Shakhtar Donetsk. Zinchenko made his Russian Premier League bow on 20 March 2015 in a match against FC Krasnodar for Ufa.
In 2016, he signed for Manchester City. After having spent the 2016-17 season on loan at PSV Enidhoven, Zinchenko made his debut for Manchester City on 24th October, 2017 against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the EFL Cup.
He made his debut for his country against Spain in October 2015.
Position and Playing Style
Zinchenko started off his career as an attacking midfielder and a left winger. However, in recent times, he has been used as a left full-back by Pep Guardiola for Manchester City, where he has excelled.
