Pokemon GO is home to different statistics and trackers. This is apparent from the many medals and badges that can be earned from completing various in-game activities. However, some players rarely think about their more private statistics, such as their purchase history, total walking distance, and average play time per session.

While finding this information may be a bit difficult, there is a way players can acquire this information directly from Niantic. For those interested, there are a couple different ways they can go about getting this data.

One way you can request your exact profile data from Niantic is by using the official option for this in the Pokemon GO application. Here is how to ask for your data in the game:

  • Open the Pokemon GO application.
  • Navigate to the settings menu by tapping the Poke Ball icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • Look for the "Help" option.
  • Select "Chat with us."
  • Select the "Request my data" option.
  • Complete the authentification process.

If the steps above have been completed, you should receive your data directly from the application.

While this is the best way to see your information, there is another method you can use to obtain your data in the form of an email from Niantic.

Here is how you can ask Niantic for your data directly:

  • Access your email account that you used to sign up for Pokemon GO.
  • Send your email to the following address: [email protected].
  • Write your message, stating that you would like to receive a copy of the personal data that has been collected from your account. Include your username and Niantic ID if you can find it.
  • Wait for a response from Niantic. They may ask for further steps to validate your identity.
  • Niantic should send you your data two to four weeks after making your request

While this may be a much longer way to see your personal data from your profile, it does come in an official email from Niantic. In most cases, it is best to just use the in-game method.

Some Pokemon GO players may be wondering why they would want this information and what sort of details they can obtain. The data you can get includes details about your account and location history, like travel, purchase history, total playtime on your account, the time you've spent in the game per play session, and any other factors.
