Jungkook's pop juggernaut album, GOLDEN, was released on November 3, 2023. The album was already supported by the worldwide number-one hit Seven, featuring Latto, and the Jack Harlow-assisted single 3D.

Jungkook prepared a unique, exclusive performance only for Audacy LIVE as part of the celebration on November 14, 2023. However, fans went feral as they saw the BTS maknae perform a dance number on the track Closer To You from his solo album.

Fans went berserk as they witnessed a choreographed performance of the hit track which was produced in association with the famous Major Lazer. One of the ARMY member took to X and wrote "My heart wasn't ready" on the video of the Closer To You track from the Audacy LIVE.

During the Audacy LIVE, aired on November 14, 2023, the singer performed on four of his tracks including Standing Next To You, SEVEN, and 3D. To wrap up his performance, Jungkook performed a neon-lit version of Closer To You.

"It feels like a house dance choreo": Fans go feral to watch Jungkook dance on 'Closer To You' during Audacy LIVE

Jungkook has now swept the K-pop world off its feet once more on November 14, 2023. The BTS phenomenon took the stage on Audacy LIVE and charmed its viewers as the performance was aired LIVE globally.

At the beginning of the LIVE, a female patron entered a dimly lit theater to begin the performance as the BTS star took center stage as the main attraction. Opening with a perfectly choreographed performance of Standing Next to You, things swiftly escalated from there.

The Standing Next to You performance was followed by SEVEN where the singer displayed seven different physical versions of him. This got extended to a different set as the BTS maknae performed on the upbeat track of 3D. However, the 26-year-old Billboard artist was keeping the best for the last, as he performed on Closer To You.

The performance of Closer To You started at a dimly-lit backdrop of a theatre while the BTS star started with melodious baritones in an attempt to woo the female patron sitting behind one of the tables watching him. While Jungkook enticed everyone with his angelic voice, his evangelic visuals further bewitched the audience as four female backup dancers dressed in white suits grooved to the set.

Fans observed that the whole set had a similar resemblance to the legendary Michael Jackson's track Smooth Criminal, which was released in November 1988.

Besides, the golden maknae (youngest member) of BTS is known by his fans to upload snippets from his casual dance rehearsals. One such instance is from 2022 when he uploaded a short clip of him practicing a dance sequence from his dance tutor. As soon as fans saw the Closer To You sequence during the Audacy LIVE, several ARMYs recalled that the choreo reminded them of the house dance.

Many even wondered whether it was that particular tutor who choreographed this performance. Nevertheless, the BTS ARMYs flooded social media as they swooned over the new dance number.

One of the fans wrote, "The Closer to you choreo is just so jungkook! It reminds me of that one dance practice video with his dance teacher" and "They've got a little funk and soul."

Here are some of the fans' reactions:

For the previous week, BTS Jungkook ruled New York since November 3, 2023, upon the global release of his solo album GOLDEN. In many respects, the pop phenomenon turned the town red. Jungkook made an appearance on The Tonight Show on November 7, 2023. Throughout the entire talk show with Fallon, he practically transformed everyone into a member of the BTS ARMY.

Furthermore, on November 8, 2023, the SEVEN singer traveled to New York to appear on the Today Show at the Rockefeller Center. A live performance of songs from his recently released first solo album took place in the plaza outside the show's New York studios, with the K-pop idol curtailing traffic all around it.

In other news, the BTS star's interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1 on November 9, 2023, was a walk down memory lane and a moment of reflecting back. Representing himself as an assured and adaptable independent performer, Jungkook spoke with Lowe about his bandmates, his first solo album GOLDEN, and the unavoidable reunification of BTS in 2025.

The singer talked about how he learned more about himself while working on his solo album and stated that he believes he deserved the title "golden," given all of the accomplishments he has achieved in developing his solo artist oeuvre.

Meanwhile, the BTS maknae has concluded the final leg of his US promotion schedule for his solo album debut GOLDEN.
