Delhi State Rifle Association (DSRA) is organising the tournament, which is also a qualifying event for the Nationals.
DSRA chairman and renowned shooter Jaspal Rana said, "More than 4000 shooters from all northern states are participating in this competition, most of them are young children.
"This competition could be possible due to the cooperation of Sports Authority of India and the efforts of DSRA and NRAI officials; it was cancelled by SAI a few days before the start of the tournament due to some technical reasons.
"But we requested to SAI officials that shooters and their parents will suffer, as the competition was fixed two months back and participants and their parents from all states have booked their flight and train tickets as well as accommodations in Delhi.
