5 reasons why Triple H is the hottest heel today in WWE

Throughout his wrestling career, Hunter found more success while portraying the bad guys than breaking the ground as a babyface. And even after he got a job in the office and relegated himself as an occasional wrestler, Triple H has changed in the least possible way. He reigns on television as one of the most hateable characters in the WWE which works in his favor while doing what’s best for business. Triple H will be putting his newly decorated heel run to the advantage at WrestleMania when he goes up against Daniel Bryan making it one of the typical bad guy – good guy battle. However, gaining a heel run without getting into the ring too often and during a transformation time like this wasn’t an easy task to begin with but Hunter managed to get there because of the following reasons.

#5 His Political games history

Professional wrestling is known to be a stage of back stabbing political games that wrestlers use to rise to the top of the mountain.

And Triple H is believed to be one of the most prominent names when there arise a debate about such backstage politics. His run with Kliq and getting married to the bosses’ daughter were used to perfection by hunter to get pushes over other names who actually deserved to be on the top.

Though his DX face run was an attempt to bury all that, since the fans have access to each and every bit of his history at their fingertips, Hunter will always have a tough time leaving he heel persona.

A blast from the past every now and then and the amount of people that was buried thank to Hunter make him a guy that no one wants to love.

#4 He has Stephanie McMahon by his side

The McMahon family is one of those names which is simply synonymous with heel. Vince McMahon is known to be one of the best heels that WWE has ever managed to build and with his genes in her body, Stephanie hasn’t been any smaller.

Stephanie’s expressions and her ability to make the fans jeer for her while smiling have been integral part of the hate that Triple H has been attracting in recent time.

She has managed to become a more mature performer through the years and it’s only a shame that she didn’t have these skills back in her wrestling days.

With the aura of Stephanie McMahon by his side, Hunter has flourished and lived up to the quote that behind every successful man there is a woman which in this case is Hunter’s wife itself.

#3 His love for the part timers

Giving push to the part time wrestlers is one of the biggest ways in which WWE attracted criticism recently. It was also the reason why a big draw like CM Punk left the company and lights of Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio is considering rejecting their new contract.

Being the creative head, Triple H is the one to blame for these pushes for part timers and the WWE fans are well aware of this fact making Hunter exposed.

Bringing back Batista and making him win the Royal Rumble might arguably be the capping off moment for the fans’ frustrations as no one wanted to see such a swerve in the face of wrestlers like Daniel Bryan or CM Punk who have been busting their rear the whole year.

Though the argument may arise that Batista and Brock Lesnar are established stars, the current generation of fans is expecting more performance rather than popularity which further made Triple H an unpopular figure.

#2 He is the Mr. McMahon of the PG Era

Authority figures being heels has always been a cash maker for WWE and one of its prime example is the back bone storyline of the Attitude Era.

Back then, it was Vince McMahon who laid down all the dirty work in the world and made use of his power to satisfy his own ego. He used to fire wrestlers, make them join his “special” club and even made divas strip down in front of the whole crowd.

Though Triple H isn’t able to do such extreme things in the current times, he has been flourishing under those limits.

He fired the Rhodes Family after they raised voice against him and recently served punishments to Damien Sandow and the Shield for not going the Authority’s way.

Hunter is just stepping into the void left by Vince McMahon, who was one of the best heels that the company has seen as mentioned earlier.

#1 He Brutalizes Daniel Bryan

The moment which gave the crown of Top heel to Hunter, beating down a hand cuffed Daniel Bryan was the epitome of everything Triple H has done over the year.

Before that went down, Triple H cost Bryan his title at SummerSlam and also pulled many dirty tricks to make sure that Bryan doesn’t rise. Keeping Bryan out of the Royal Rumble was another controversial decision which went down and pulling the strings to make Kane do the dirty work added to the whole thing.

And Bryan rose to unprecedented underdog status thanks to all this and became the most over superstar in the WWE.

Locking horns with such a popular star cemented Triple H’s heel status whatever he did to Bryan was magnified by the Internet community making Triple H look like the worst guy to walk on planet earth.

All these will be the back drop of the big match that Triple H will be having with Bryan at WrestleMania and its Hunter’s heel run that will add more sparkle to the match and make Bryan the biggest star in the company.
