The so-called ‘Revolution’ is going pretty strong and we expect to see some excellent matches from these divas as the time passes by. Though the levels of excitement surrounding the call-ups are sky high, the new divas in the division are comparatively unfamiliar.Most of the WWE fans out there don’t know much about these three women and this list is going to take a look at the same. So here is a look at 10 Things that you probably did not know about Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch. And you are probably going to fall in love with one girl or the other after reading this.

#11 Honourable mention: Favourite wrestlers of Sasha Banks

During an interview with WWE.com, Sasha Banks pointed out Eddie Guerrero as her favorite wrestler. She said that she was heavily influenced by Eddie as a youngster and wanted to be just like him. Also, in a recent tweet, Sasha said that she is a fan of Chris Benoit and Rey Mysterio as well. Although the tweet was later taken down due to WWE’s strict policy against Benoit, it doesn’t change her favorites.

#10 Snoop Dogg is the cousin of Sasha Banks

Another lesser-known fact about Sasha Banks is that she is the cousin of Rapper Snoop Dogg. The real life Mercedes Kaestner-Varnado, Sasha used to hang out with Snoop Dogg every now and then. She also wanted Snoop Dogg to record her entrance music, but the rapper was apparently too busy to do the same.

Now that Sasha is making a name for herself in the company, WWE could pull in Snoop Dogg and try to get the job done. And since Snoop Dogg himself has appeared numerous times in WWE, he wouldn’t have much problem in appearing once again to help out his little cousin.

#9 Becky Lynch was trained by Finn Balor

Becky Lynch was born in Ireland and as a teenager; she came to know about the wrestling school that was run by Finn Balor and Paul Tracey. She was hooked instantly and went to check out the school. Becky soon enrolled herself alongside her brother and made her debut just five months later.

She learned the tricks of the trade from Finn Balor and not many WWE fans are aware of this fact. Her brother, Gonzo De Mondo, is also a professional wrestler. Becky wrestled in mixed tag team matches with her brother during early parts of her career and her brother played a big role in training her as well.

#8 Charlotte was sentenced to jail once

In 2008, a fight broke out involving Ric Flair, Charlotte, and Riki Johnson. Riki was Charlotte’s first husband and when a police officer showed up, Charlotte assaulted him. Charlotte was immediately arrested. She later pleaded guilty in the incident and was sentenced to 45 days in jail.

Thankfully for Charlotte, her punishment was suspended and it was limited to supervised probation and a fine of $200. With the track record that Ric Flair has with the police, it is not a big surprise to see Charlotte getting arrested at a very young age. She hasn’t been in the black list ever since and hopefully won’t make it there in the future as well.

#7 Becky Lynch once managed Paige

Becky Lynch suffered a lot of injuries during her career and one of those injuries (we’ll see it soon) kept her away from the ring. Becky, however, did not want to stay away from the wrestling business and started working in Shimmer as a manager. Shimmer is a women’s promotion and Becky found a mother-daughter tag team she could manage.

The mother-daughter pairing that Becky managed in Shimmer was none other than the team of Britani Knight and Saraya Knight. Britani Knight later went on to be a successful Diva in the WWE under the ring name ‘Paige’. And now, Paige and Becky are working as a team. Beautiful, isn’t it?

#6 Charlotte\'s other qualifications

There are no doubts about Charlottes in-ring ability. She is an excellent wrestler, but Charlottes abilities are not limited to wrestling. Charlotte holds two NCHSAA 4 A-State championships for volleyball. She was the captain of her team and was also named the player of the year in 2004-05. The run she had with the volleyball team contributed a lot towards her athleticism.

After high school, Charlotte went on to earn a degree in public relations. But instead of choosing a career path there, she went on to become a personal trainer before ending up in the wrestling business by following her fathers footsteps.

#5 Wrestling helped Becky give up alcohol and marijuana addictions

Just like most of the professional wrestlers out there, Becky Lynch also had her demons. She began her wrestling training as a teenager and before that she was going down a bad path that involved alcohol and marijuana. Wrestling, however, helped her break away from those addictions and aided her recovery.

She was a big fan of professional wrestling from her childhood itself and used to watch it along with her brother. Due to her love for wrestling she earned a brown belt as a submission wrestler before excelling in various activities like horse riding, swimming, and basketball. And then, she stumbled upon the training school of Finn Balor.

#4 Charlotte is married to a TNA Wrestler

Charlotte has married twice. Her first husband was Riki Johnson and once the relationship broke down, she married fellow wrestler Tom Latimer. Latimer was a former NXT and FCW wrestler where he wrestled as part of the original Ascension. His WWE run came to an abrupt end when WWE fired him after he was charged for battery and disorderly intoxication.

He married Charlotte after his release from WWE. Tom later went on to feature in TNA as Bram and is known for having some hardcore matches there. He is still one of the backbones of TNA despite the rough time that the company is going through.

#3 Becky Lynch was almost forced to end her career

There was a mention about Becky’s injuries earlier. And one of those injuries was so severe that it almost forced her to quit Wrestling. She suffered a head injury in 2006 while wrestling in Germany and was diagnosed for a possible damage to the cranial nerve. The injury kept her out of wrestling and she was scheduled to make her return in 2008.

However, she didn’t show up at the event and felt that wrestling was not the right option for her at that time. Three years later, Becky finally made her return to the ring and this time, it was as the manager of Saraya Knight and Britani Knight.

#2 Sasha Banks\' mother made her stop watching wrestling

While most of the teenage girls in her age were busy going behind the romantic comedy TV Series, Sasha Banks was into professional wrestling. She was really interested in what she saw in the WWE shows, but her mother was not impressed. Sasha’s mother kept her away from watching wrestling on TV.

Sasha, however, had no plans of doing so. She went to her brother’s room and started watching again. She had to go through the situation many times but now, her mother is probably proud about her. According to Sasha, her mother is more tolerant to wrestling now. This is a classic example of how you should follow your passion irrespective of what others say.

#1 More than a decade in wrestling business and a degree in acting

We have already discussed about the things Becky Lynch went through to reach here, but one more thing worth saying about her is the experience. In fact, she is one of the most experienced divas in the current roster.

Becky made her debut back in 2002. She wrestled across various promotions in Europe and had a brief stint in Japan as well.

She then went on to succeed in the American promotions before earning herself a contract with the WWE. She knows how the business works and has been part of it for more than a decade. And if her wrestling skills were not enough, Becky also holds a degree in acting. Now, that’s what we call a perfect package.
