The newest PPV which replaces Elimination Chamber makes it way in a couple of days. It may be the final point until things are made official backstage as to what is up with the final match card at Wrestlemania. Given its placement between Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble, this PPV may just become as relevant as Elimination Chamber was or No Way Out was. And WWE is making sure that the audience tunes in on Sunday to see many stories continue and unravel. Here are 5 reasons why Fastlane may become a relevant PPV-

#5 The End is near?

Rusev’s streak is not as legendary as Goldberg’s winning streak in WCW or the even more legendary Streak of The Undertaker. But it’s still something that is an extension of his gimmick. And it has given him some credibility in addition to his good performances in the ring and Lana’s promo skills. Despite all of that he’s up against the face who runs the place. John Cena has faced many a rising talent in the WWE but only a few have been able to create that magic of a spellbinding feud with him. Rusev may not win or lose on Sunday but his booking will tell what is set for him at Wrestlemania and beyond.

#4 Stinger\'s here!

This is the first time, it is expected, that Sting will make a somewhat lengthy appearance in the WWE. And this may be as eerie and spectacular as is adept to his mystifying persona. And as this will be his third in 7 appearances that he’s signed up for, it might be the time when Triple H asks for a truce and Sting denies it in his own way. There will be a time when Triple h will get the upper hand and Sting will be left for the eagles but not at Fast Lane. This will be Sting’s moment to really showcase his gimmick in all its glory.

This is no small feat and for this, Fastlane may become memorable.

#3 Getting back some momentum

Ambrose was the most popular star of the year last year but all of that was cooled down by WWE’s booking of Ambrose. He was on the losing end most of the time against Wyatt on televised matches that he later developed a losing streak. But that has changed with his recent convincing wins. One thing that doesn’t change is Ambrose being entertaining with whatever little material he’s put up with. Bad News Barret has been losing and he hasn’t been an intriguing IC champion at all. Maybe he will win on Sunday and make Ambrose’s win at Wrestlemania seem all the more exciting. But Fast lane may be the time when everyonw will be vying for Ambrose to bring back some prestige to the title.

#2 The Impending Return

Orton’s return has only been postponed and maybe the WWE is searching for the right moment. Orton left the WWE on the heels of some major momentum when the biggest highlight of the night of his last two weeks were his performances. That brought back some lost trust from the hardcore fans for The Viper. It is time to get him back on screen and get started with his feud with Rollins.

#1 Believe in the \'Yes Movement\'?

It is still not clear if Bryan will have a similar journey as last year and make the WM main event into a triple threat and bringing to the fore the much awaited David Vs Goliath. But one has to admit that Roman Reigns is working really hard to prove his credibility as a main event star. And Roman Reigns winning the title is more symbolic of the future breed of wrestlers taking over than just Roman Reigns taking over.

Roman Reigns’ winning and gaining back some trust seems more interesting as it will provide more young superstars to come and vie for that title.

Fastlane will be relevant to see if WWE and Reigns gain some of the trust they lost.
