WWE Money In The Bank 2014: 5 Promising Developments

As has been the story in the WWE since Wrestlemania 30, these are the days of the young. The entire night might have ended with a not so young WWE star winning but what followed before it was a showcase of what the young and new in the company are capable of and why the company should place their trust on the for the long term. Here are the five promising developments fromMoney In The Bank pay-per-view.

#1 Paige-Naomi match

This Divas match is the best match Paige has had since making her debut in the roster and this match is very well one of the few good divas matches the WWE has had in a matter of a few years. This match further developd that fact that Paige can take up many high risk spots thatn the other divas can or have been allowed to do.

But it was pleasantly surprising to see Naomi match up to the intensity that Paige has brought to the division. This rivalry should continue but this time with the microphone involved too.

#2 Seth Rollins\' Performance

Sure, he won with some interference but you should know if you are a smart wrestling fan that heels usually never win clean. Seth Rollins is an all out heel after all he betrayed his brothers. He took the biggest bumps of the night. He was tossed around and he made them count by selling them spectacularly.

And he still gets up after all that. It works when you’re young. For now, it seems that a championship reign might just be around the corner but as far as history goes, this might not be his sure shot at being a champion because. . .

#3 Dean Ambrose is Here to Stay

All the match did was not to show Rollins as Mr. MITB but elevate his feud with Ambrose. Ambrose was the one who got the biggest reaction from the crowd. everything he did meant to be a part of this story.

His suplex to Rollins( which Ambrose sold better), his fracas with the medical staff and his eventual return to the ring to prevent Rollins from winning, was the one that had the audience in rapt attention and that clearly shows what the match wanted to put forth- Rollins Vs Ambrose is ON.

#4 The Usos\' performance

While not as hyped as the two MITB ladder matches, this match was clearly one of the best matches of the night which surprisingly did not ahve the Wyatt Family coming out looking the most dominating and intense. Sure, they were all of the above stated adjectives but the Usos came out as the winner and they sure looked like that too.

They gave the Family a fight. And to top that, theire styles go well together even if they’re so different. Good times ahead for the tag title scene.

#5 The MITB tradition

Even if Cena won, the two matches that were the most hyped proved that even when the outcome seems inevitable, the action that leads to the moment is so not. So many talented superstars and with ladders involved, nothing can be unimpressive or boring.

It sure shows that the young and new in the WWE will benefit most from this match as these matches ahve the curiosity and attention of the arena audience and that gurantees that you won’t go unnoticed.
