Top 5 Guests We Need On The Stone Cold Podcast

To his credit, Eric Bischoff took a lot of Stone Cold Stunners on WWE Programming

While Stone Cold Steve Austin may be one of the greatest WWE Superstars in the history of the company, he is now finding success in the podcasting world. He has been at this venture for quite some time now, but WWE caught wind of it and felt his show would be fantastic on the WWE Network. Thus far, all of Stone Cold’s Podcasts have managed to get excellent reviews. However, it seems that WWE was not exactly happy with them initially. The Triple H and Vince McMahon podcasts were beloved by WWE fans, but the higher-ups felt that Austin went too far. This caused the WWE to push Austin out in favor of Chris Jericho’s podcast for a while. It seems the problems are now resolved and WWE is allowing Austin to do more podcasts with WWE. WWE had an excellent podcast with Edge and Christian this past week, which once again managed to get love from WWE fans. This got us wondering, who else should WWE bring in to be part of the Stone Cold Podcast on the WWE Network? We put a list together of five people that WWE should bring on to be part of the podcast. Enjoy

#1 Eric Bischoff

To his credit, Eric Bischoff took a lot of Stone Cold Stunners on WWE Programming

While it has been rumored for about a week now that the former WCW President Eric Bischoff may very well be on the Stone Cold Podcast live on the WWE Network, it has yet to be confirmed. However, if we are going to start with a big guest for the show on this list, Bischoff is the guy we would want.

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff have a big history with one another. They have discussed this on podcasts in the past, however. They have also put their beef with each other behind them. However, what a great concept it would be to potentially stir up old things?

Bischoff, to his credit, is a very smart man. It would be fun to see what he would say about current WWE events. He also was a key figure in the Monday Night Wars years ago, so Austin asking him about key things could make for a very fun show.

#2 Mick Foley

Mick Foley with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose on WWE RAW discussing Hell in a Cell

Stone Cold and Mick Foley have had an interesting WWE history together. They have been rivals and even tag team partners together. Foley has been in some of the most memorable moments in WWE history. When you think of some of the most amazing hardcore moments in WWE history, Mick Foley seems to stand out more than any other at this point.

Foley has done it all, and was one of the most beloved WWE Superstars of all time.

The WWE Hall of Famers could share a ton of fun stories about a variety of things. Foley has expressed a ton of things about his career in his books, however he is known for sharing a lot of stories in his comedy shows.

It would make a lot of sense for Austin to ask about stories that Foley hasn’t spoken about as often. Foley is known for being a fun interview, and with a guy like Austin this would only continue and it would surely be an interesting podcast for WWE fans to listen in to.

#3 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan as he main events WrestleMania 30

Daniel Bryan has been one of the most popular WWE Superstars the company has had the last few years. He also has a lot of fun stories that he and Austin could discuss. We know Bryan has been in the news a lot lately due to his comments at random events. He has also been a very fun interview for just about everyone lately on his book tour.

It is thought that he and Bryan could discuss a lot of fun things about his career on the Indy scene as well as his time in WWE. Austin has mentioned that Bryan’s in-ring style does make his wrestling career life limited, because there is a risk for injury. So it will be interesting to see how Austin and Bryan would disuss in-ring work seeing as one is a legend who has done it all and the other is one of the best in-ring workers on the planet.

Bryan has been quite outspoken as of late, so due to the fact that he doesn’t hold back, the two could really go into some fun debates on the Stone Cold Podcast. It would surely make for some interesting network numbers.

One thing many people know about Daniel Bryan thus far is that he is fun to listen to about a variety of things. So it would be great to see what Austin and Bryan could do for a WWE Network podcast at some point.

#4 The Rock

The Rock on WWE Tough Enough in 2011

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is arguably the most popular WWE Superstar ever. The man who could be either 1A or 1B with him is Stone Cold Steve Austin. The two of them have main evented three WrestleMania events together and fought on numerous occasions in WWE. Anyone with even an ounce of WWE knowledge knows that the two of them could share some really good stories.

Rock and Austin are probably the two men that had the most exciting, long-term rivalry in WWE.

Thousands of matches and dozens of promos have gone into their matches with one another and it makes all the sense in the world to have them on a live WWE Network podcast together.

It is a known fact that when the two of them get together, sparks fly. As a result, it would be terrific to see them together once again, this time in podcast form.

#5 Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose runs a hotdog truck into Randy Orton and Kane on WWE RAW

WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose has been discussed by many to be the next Stone Cold Steve Austin. WWE has tried to make him into this on numerous occasions, which has been interesting to see. Austin has mentioned in the past that Ambrose has a bit of a reckless style and that he goes too far at times. He has said similar about people such as Daniel Bryan as well.

It makes sense to think that the two men could sit down and discuss a variety of things, including their various similarities.

Ambrose is a well liked WWE Superstar who is gaining popularity more and more with WWE fans. He is on par with anyone in WWE when it comes to in ring and promo ability and fans seem to dig everything he does.

Like Austin, Ambrose is not a typical babyface or heel. He finds a good middle, which allows him to go far with people but still remain liked. This is something that people such as Austin did a good bit in his entire career. The two could really have a fun interview and it might be one that fans cannot afford to miss.

Right now, it might be one of the few interviews WWE would want to push for because the magic of the podcast alone could draw WWE Network numbers at least for a month.
