Best NBA Player Props tonight: John Collins & More, November 5 | 2022-23 NBA Season

Atlanta Hawks v Philadelphia 76ers
John Collins of the Atlanta Hawks

There are eight NBA games in action today, and there are plenty of player props to consider. Below, we'll look at the best player props being offered this Saturday, November 5.

NBA Player Prop #1: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 33.5 Points & Rebounds (-104)

Houston Rockets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Match Details

Fixture: Houston Rockets @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Date & Time: Saturday, November 5, 8:00 p.m. EDT

Venue: Target Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota

Karl-Anthony Towns and the Timberwolves suffered a disappointing loss to the Bucks last night at home, but they'll look to shake it off and bounce back tonight versus Houston. The Rockets are in rebuilding mode, and Towns should take advantage of this young frontcourt. Towns averages 27 points and 13.3 rebounds facing the Rockets in his career, and tonight he'll likely have another monster stat line, especially since teammate Rudy Gobert, who averages 14 rebounds per game, has been ruled out.

NBA Player Prop #2: Julius Randle Over 30.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-108)

Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks Match Details

Fixture: Boston Celtics @ New York Knicks

Date & Time: Saturday, November 5, 7:30 p.m. EDT

Venue: Madison Square Garden, New York, New York

Julius Randle and the Knicks won a nailbiter in Philadelphia last night, and tonight they'll travel back home to face the rival Celtics. Randle ended with 17 points, ten boards, and five assists yesterday, and he should be around double-digit boards again since center Mitchell Robinson is doubtful. As a Knick, Randle averages 19.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 5.1 assists versus the Celtics in ten career games, so expect him to fill up the stat sheet tonight.

NBA Player Prop #3: John Collins Over 7.5 Rebounds (-120)

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Atlanta Hawks Match Details

Fixture: New Orleans Pelicans @ Atlanta Hawks

Date & Time: Saturday, November 5, 7:30 p.m. EDT

Venue: State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia

John Collins is now in his sixth NBA season, and so far, he's seen his points per game take a little dip. The Hawks added Dejounte Murray this offseason, and as a result, Collins' usage rate has slightly decreased. Collins has made up for this, though, by increasing his rebounds to 10.3 compared to the 7.8 mark he finished with last season. Over the last two games, Collins has grabbed 12+ rebounds, and on the year, he has just one game out of eight where he's pulled down seven or fewer boards.

Tonight, star guard Trae Young is listed as questionable, and while Young doesn't get a ton of rebounds, if Young is ruled out, this will allow Collins to be more involved in the flow of the game. Expect the Hawks' power forward to notch eight rebounds once again versus the Pelicans tonight, as he's been very consistent at collecting boards in the early going.
