About Atlanta Hawks Roster
The Atlanta Hawks roster is spearheaded by Trae Young, forming a dynamic backcourt partnership with Dejounte Murray. The Hawks lineup have suffered multiple injuries to their star players, which has put them in a tight position and they are currently fighting for the play-in spot in the Eastern conference.
The Atlanta Hawks has a fast paced offense, led by the backcourt duo of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray. Hawks players rely on Young and Murray for both scoring and playmaking. Jalen Johnson who plays in the forward position for the Hawks has been a 3 and D wing player. The Hawks have a veteran and an experienced center in Clint Capela, who can set good screens and provide open looks for his teammates. At small forward, either De'Andre Hunter or Saddiq Bey starts and provides two-way versatility and scoring punch. Due to a season-ending injury, Sadiq Bey is out for the season.
Coming off the bench is one of the most efficient 3-point shooters, Bogdan Bogdanovic and his scoring prowess make him a valuable asset for the Hawks from the bench. The Hawks roster has experienced players like Wesley Matthews and Garrison Matthews on the bench, who provide 3-point shooting and great defense. The Atlanta Hawks’ young backup center, Onyeka Okongwu has shown immense promise for the Atlanta Hawks, demonstrating his athleticism, shot-blocking prowess, and ability to finish around the rim.
