ZETA DIVISION Valorant Team Bio
ZETA DIVISION is a Japanese esports organization, formerly known as Jupiter. The organization entered Valorant in 2020.
History
ZETA DIVISION is the most successful Valorant team in the Japanese region. The team entered Valorant in 2020 and has since represented the region in two international Valorant Champions Tour events (VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin & VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters Reykjavík) so far.
Timeline
2022
- January 1st - takej left to join REJECT.
- January 26th - ZETA DIVISION signed ta1yo as a streamer.
- April 25th - barce was transferred to DetonatioN Gaming White.
- July 8th - ZETA DIVISION acquired abu, Renniki, Killin9Hit, MeLton and Suzuki Noriaki as streamers.
- July 30th - TENNN took a break due to health issues with an eye disease. Xdll joined on loan from SCARZ during Valorant Champions 2022.
2021
- July 1st - JUPITER signed makiba.
- July 8th - JUPITER rebranded to ZETA DIVISION. StylishNoob joined as a streamer.
- September 23rd - k4sen joined as a streamer.
- October 1st - ZETA DIVISION suspended takej for 3 months for violating Riot's Valorant Community Code.
- December 1st - ZETA DIVISION acquired TENNN, SugarZ3ro from Northeption, and Dep from REJECT. Reita was transferred to REJECT for 1 year. Barce decided to pursue a career in streaming. makiba went inactive for the 2022 season.
2020
- April 7th - JUPITER signed former Counter-Strike roster of Absolute to form Absolute JUPITER. Laz, Reita, crow, barce, takej and coach JUNiOR joined.
- November 2nd - JUPITER acquired XQQ as coach.
- November 13th - JUPITER acquired gya9 as analyst.
