Elena Rybakina winning a Porsche after her title triumph at the 2024 Stuttgart Open without having a driver's license has sparked hilarious reactions from tennis fans.

Rybakina captured her third title of the season at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix on April 21. The Kazakh entered the tournament as the fourth seed and received an opening-round bye.

She kicked off her campaign with a topsy-turvy three-set win against Veronika Kudermatova and followed it up with another back-and-forth three-set win against Jasmine Paolini.

The 24-year-old then faced Iga Swiatek, who had yet to lose a match at the tournament in her career. But the Kazakh dug deep in her third three-setter in Stuttgart to see off the Pole. In the final, Rybakina defeated Marta Kostyuk comfortably 6-2, 6-2 to clinch the title.

As the winner of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Rybakina won the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo alongside the cash prize and the trophy. But in a hilarious turn of events, the Kazakh is yet to attain her driver's license. She revealed this during her post-match interview after defeating Swiatek.

When asked what she was planning on doing with her new car without a driving license, Rybakina said that didn't really know yet but had planned to keep it in Dubai.

The Kazakh also said that her Porsche would probably be driven by Stefano (her coach) or her mother, but hoped to be the one behind the driver's seat one day.
