Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian was stunned as MrBeast announced Beas Games. The winner of the inaugural edition of this event is set to win a grand prize of $5 million.
World-renowned YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, who is famously known by his alias MrBeast, amassed his huge audience through videos having extravagant challenges. However, these extravagant challenges would also reward the winner with huge sums of money, private jets, and mansions, to name a few. In one of his most popular videos, he recreated Netflix's cultural phenomenon 'Squid Game'.
However, it seems that Donaldson is ready to take things up another notch. The American YouTuber recently launched a teaser for his upcoming project Beast Games which he spent over a year creating. The series will be a teb-episode feature released on Prime Video in December and will be breaking many world records.
The last person standing out of 1000 participants is set to win an astounding bounty of $5 million.
"Here's a little teaser for Beast Games! I spent over a year creating this 10 episode competition series, breaking 40 world records, building the craziest sets in entertainment history, featuring 1,000 players, and a $5,000,000 grand prize! I poured everything I have into this show, I'll see you December 19th on @PrimeVideo!"
Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian, who has expressed his admiration for MrBeast, took to X (formerly Twitter) to marvel at the scale of Donaldson's latest project.
"Epic feels like an understatement. I can't wait to see who wins $5,000,000," Ohanian tweeted.
"Almost had me there" - When Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian nearly fell for MrBeast's quitting YouTube prank
During April's Fools this year, MrBeast decided to have some fun with his fans and jokingly put out a tweet saying that he was quitting YouTube.
""I’m quitting YouTube," Donaldson tweeted.
Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian, who, previously mentioned, is a huge admirer of Donaldon's work, tweeted to admit that he nearly fell for the American YouTuber's April's Fools prank.
"Not gonna lie, you almost had me there!", Ohanian wrote.
MrBeast had tweeted in 2023 that he had declined an invitation to travel to the submersible Titan, which OceanGate operated. The submersible carried five passengers, who were on board to explore the wreckage of the Titanic. However, the submersible tragically imploded on June 18, 2023, during its descent.
Alexis Ohanian said that he was 'happy' that Donaldson declined the invitation.
