Roger Federer shares photos of his recent visit to London ft. On Running's new flagship store

Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer recently gave a glimpse of his social life to his fans, posting a few pictures from his latest London trip.

The former World No. 1 announced his retirement last year, saying goodbye to fans around the world at the Laver Cup. In his last ever professional match, Federer partnered with long-time friend and rival Rafael Nadal to play a doubles match for Team Europe. Despite winning the first set, the legendary duo lost to Team World's Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe.

On Thursday, the 20-time Grand Slam winner uploaded a few photos from his recent London trip, where he was seen roaming the streets of the English capital. Most notably, he paid a visit to 'Gregory Swimming Los Angeles March 31st 1982' a King's Cross -- an interactive art show created by David Hockney.

The eight-time Wimbledon winner also visited On Running's flagship store that was unveiled in London a few weeks back. On Running is a company in which Federer invested in 2019. As per reports he has a 3% stake in the company, although that hasn't been confirmed by either party till date.

Roger Federer is seemingly enjoying his time away from the court, but his undying love for tennis racquets has kept him in the loop. He was recently present for the release of the new Wilson ProStaff V14.

The Wilson ProStaff Racquet, created by the late Pierre Babolat and first made available in 1984, has long been Roger Federer's go-to blade. The most recent model of the legendary racquet has a head size of 95 square inches, a comparatively short length of 27 inches, and a mid-plus size head.

Speaking about the new design, the Swiss legend said:

"Wilson has a new ProStaff coming out the V14 and for the first time in quite some time now I won’t be the one playing or debuting it on the tour which is obviously unfortunate. But you’ll see it in the hands of really some great other players from both the ATP and WTA tour in 2023 and beyond."

"The precision is still at the absolute top of the game and I know you’ll get as much joy out of the new version as with all the ProStaffs I played to date really," he added.

Furthermore, Federer is also in talks to return to Wimbledon as a commentator for the 2023 edition.
