Jannik Sinner's relationship status has been a huge topic of discussion for a long time. However, the curiosity of tennis fans peaked manifoldly since the Italian was pictured with Russian model Lara Leito and was spotted with a mystery woman in Copenhagen.
Sinner made his relationship with fellow tennis player Anna Kalinskaya public during the French Open last year. Since then, the couple was seen cheering each other on during their matches, and often famously shared a kiss after the Italian clinched the US Open. However, things didn't turn out the way they would've liked, and the couple reportedly parted ways earlier this year.
During his three-month suspension, reports emerged that Jannik Sinner had started dating 31-year-old Russian model Lara Leito, and the two were spending some time together at the Monte Carlo Country Club. It is worth noting that Leito previously used to be in a relationship with two-time Academy Award winner Adrien Brody from 2012-18.
However, during a pre-tournament press conference during his comeback event, the Italian Open, Sinner clarified that he was still single and also had a good laugh about the whole situation.
"There's a whole lot of attention, also off the court. And I was also very surprised to see some pictures, which are nothing serious [smiling]. I'm not in a relationship. So, whoever is asking, it's all good,” the World No. 1 said during a press conference.
Intersingly, there were also rumors that he had reunited with his ex-girlfriend Maria Braccini, when she posted some snaps from her time in Rome, which coincidentally coincided with the Italian's run at the Rome Masters. However, Braccini cleared the air via her Instagram story.
"No. No return, no boyfriend! Please… 🙏🏻," she commented (Translated from Italian).
Funnily, this was not the end to the speculations about the Italian's relationship status as ahead of his 2025 French Open run, questions about his relationship status raised again.
Jannik Sinner puts relationship rumors to bed with his explicit denial

During a pre-tournment press conference at the French Open, Jannik Sinner was asked questions about the woman he was spotted with in Copehagen.
“I saw some pictures of you walking around in Copenhagen with a girl this week. Just wondered what you were doing in Copenhagen and who the girl was?” the journalist asked.
Sinner, for the second time since his return to tennis, cleared the air about his relationship status by stating that his meeting with the aforementioned woman was business related.
“Uh, no, it was no girl. I had to do some business, just a couple of photo shoots there. That's it. Nothing else.” (1:02 onwards)
On the tennis side, Jannik Sinner made a resounding comeback to tennis at the Italian Open by reaching the final. He was defeated by his biggest rival Carlos Alcaraz in the final. However, he will have a shot at revenge as both young superstars have reached the final of the French Open. This will also be the first Grand Slam final between the two generational talents.
