Taylor Fritz's girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, recently shared a picture of a sweatshirt gifted to her by the American tennis star. The highlight, however, was the witty message on the sweatshirt, referencing Riddle's recent illness, which prompted her to playfully tease her boyfriend.
As a renowned internet personality, Riddle often hosts events nationwide. She recently attended amfAR's Inaugural Gala in Las Vegas, where she interviewed several celebrities. Shortly after, she attended the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, held between November 21 and 23.
The 27-year-old later contracted Norovirus, also known as the Norwalk virus, which causes severe vomiting and diarrhea. On Tuesday, November 26, Riddle shared this concerning update via her Instagram story.
"Have been fighting for my life for the last 48 hours. Truly wouldn't wish norovirus upon my worst enemy," she wrote.
Amid her illness, Fritz playfully teased Riddle by gifting her a sweatshirt that read:
"My tummy hurts but I’m being really brave about it," it read.
Riddle wore the sweatshirt and shared a mirror selfie on her Instagram story. She playfully mocked the World No. 4's sense of humor, writing:
"Taylor got me this millennial-a** sweatshirt and he thought it was so funny (he doesn’t understand internet culture so we will give him grace) but today felt like a good time to wear it," she wrote.

Morgan Riddle was in the stands supporting Taylor Fritz during ATP Finals final
Taylor Fritz last competed on the tour at the ATP Finals in Turin. The American defeated Alex de Minaur and Daniil Medvedev, only losing to World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the round-robin stage to qualify for the semifinals.
Fritz then triumphed over second seed Alexander Zverev 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (3) to reach the final, where he again faced Sinner. However, the Italian denied the American's bid for his maiden ATP Finals title, securing a 6-4, 6-4 victory.
Morgan Riddle cheered for Fritz from the stands and later shared a picture of the American following the defeat, expressing her support for him. Fritz later thanked his team for their efforts. Riddle also joined the team during the trophy ceremony.
"Thank you to my team for being with me, putting up with me all year long. It's been a long year but they are all still sticking around. So thank you guys for being here. I might not have been able to do it without you," he said.
Fritz and Riddle began dating in June 2020 after meeting through a dating app.
