The Michael-Willow custody case on General Hospital had an interim twist in the form of Sasha's premature labor while on the stand. With a protest blocking the entry inside the courthouse, Nurse Willow stepped in to help deliver the baby. This situation also brought up another friction between Carly, Nina and Drew as the former outed Nina's actions.

The past few months on General Hospital have been building up to the split between Michael and Willow. While Michael and Sasha's one-night intimacy was more of a drunken grief than a romantic move, the latter's pregnancy changed the equation. Moreover, Drew pushed his girlfriend to take advantage of Michael's burns, forcing the Corinthos scion into battle form.

Meanwhile, the other burning arc on the long-running ABC daily soap revolves around Giovanni, who recently discovered he was adopted by his mother, Camilla. His biological parents are Brook Lynn and Dante. Everyone concerned with Gio's revelation is having a hard time adjusting to the facts.

As General Hospital fans know, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, marked the start of the Michael-Willow custody hearing. After both attorneys presented the basic case, cross-examination of the witnesses started.

Willow's attorney, Ric Lansing, got the upper hand by calling Sasha to the witness stand and forcing her to admit to having an intimacy with Michael. Wednesday's episode, dated June 4, 2025, saw Sasha's baby's parentage revealed, leaving the whole courtroom surprised.

However, the situation got out of hand when Ric kept badgering the witness, leaving her in pain due to a premature labor. As the Judge paused the hearing, Michael rushed towards Sasha. Also, General Hospital viewers saw Nurse Willow jump into action as she helped the patient deliver the baby in the courtroom.

As Michael thanked Willow's humane act, the animosity between them eased. However, outside the room, Carly overheard Nina accusing Ric of overpressuring Sasha. Realizing Nina's role in Ric's hard-hitting arguments, Carly confronted her longtime rival.

As Drew Caine joined the altercation, he declared that everyone was happy about his relationship with Willow except for Carly. To that, a furious Carly revealed Nina signing on Jacinda in his Ketamine-drugging situation.

General Hospital: Which story arcs will Sasha's childbirth likely affect?

As was evident in the courtroom on Thursday's episode, dated June 5, 2025, the equation between Sasha, Michael and Willow has changed. They do not seem to hold grudges. On the contrary, Michael and Sasha will have gratitude for Willow. As such, Michael may consider settling out of court for fifty per cent custody.

While Michael may think of getting together with Sasha, he will let Willow find happiness with Drew. Willow, on her part, may also find peace with the fifty per cent custody. If Drew Caine badmouths Michael Corinthos, she may disagree.

On the other hand, Drew has recently learned that Nina was behind his Ketamine drugging. This will cause a fallout not only between Nina and Drew, but also between Nina and her daughter. As Willow will now see Drew as her mother's victim, she will support him. She may even consider moving to DC with him.

At the same time, Drew will have problems since he framed Tracy for Nina's crimes, and the senior Quartermaine will look for revenge.

Meanwhile, Carly will have lots of questions for Jason. She may corner the latter for his lies about fathering Sasha's baby. However, after realizing his intentions regarding Michael's custody case, she will forgive her best friend. At the same time, Tracy will want to know her newborn great-granddaughter, who is a Quartermaine.

Elsewhere, Kai overheard Dr. Portia's role in procuring the Ketamine that spoiled Drew's image. He also heard her and Curtis's further plans. Kai Taylor will likely want to pay back his benefactor by disclosing what he heard. That will mean that Drew may know about Curtis's plans before the latter can put them into action.
