A brief recap of Poker Face season 2 episode 7
Charlie Cale finds herself in a small town in Poker Face season 2 episode 7, working at a local restaurant called Tandoori as a delivery girl. During one of her deliveries, she meets Bill, the store manager of the local SuperSave megastore, and it is love at first sight. They hook up, and Charlie promises to settle down in town for a while, something that she hasn't done throughout the season.
However, after promising to call her the next day, Bill ghosts her. Charlie later discovers that Bill has become the suspect in the SuperSave robbery the previous night. The police think he stole $400,000 from the store's safe and skipped town, but Charlie doesn't believe it.
After sneaking into the store the following night, Charlie finds the real thief—Kendall, Bill's friend and a former employee of the store. He, along with the local crook named Juice, robbed the store, using the heist movie script Kendall wrote about a TV salesperson robbing the SuperSave store as a guide.
Juice killed Bill during the robbery and hid the body in plain sight—in the middle of the store, dressed as the Black Santa. It's how Charlie found her lover's body, which was traumatizing for her and the rest of the shoppers.
