After a 5-year absence, former WWE Superstar CM Punk shocked the Pro Wrestling world by appearing on WWE Backstage last week. The Straightedge Superstar was introduced by Renee Young at the end of the show, which took wrestling Twitter by storm. Punk revealed that he would be appearing on the following episode of WWE Backstage.
Shortly after, Punk made a tweet promoting the appearance, and it turned into a Twitter feud between several AEW and WWE personalities.

Last week, Renee Young teased something big, and Punk appeared moments later to everyone's shock. Punk revealed that he was thinking of doing a Shockmaster entrance, but then decided to go against it.

Punk admitted that he sees some bright spots in pro wrestling at the moment. He stated that he likes how far the women have come. Punk did add that the Women's Revolution doesn't need a label, and that it should be kept more organic.
Punk talked about NXT and said that he is aware of the struggle that comes with working one's way up to the top. He stated that the NXT roster feels "less tainted".

#2 Punk's unfiltered thoughts on King Corbin's "Big Dog" segment
On the latest edition of SmackDown, King Corbin brought out a "Big Dog" mascot in an attempt to insult Roman Reigns. The segment garnered tons of negative attention on social media from fans and critics alike.
Punk seems to have hated the segment, as he termed it as being 'garbage'. Punk stated that he needs to look into Corbin more, but added that the first impression hasn't been a good one.
#1 Punk responds to Seth Rollins
Almost immediately after Punk's return, Seth Rollins had called him out on Twitter. Punk made it clear that he doesn't want to shoot angles on WWE Backstage. He further stated that Rollins should stop tweeting and that "it's better to be viewed at as the fool and shut your mouth, or open your mouth and remove all doubt".
