The Straightedge Superstar was introduced by Renee Young at the end of the show, which took wrestling Twitter by storm. Punk revealed that he would be appearing on the following episode of WWE Backstage.

Shortly after, Punk made a tweet promoting the appearance, and it turned into a Twitter feud between several AEW and WWE personalities.

Almost immediately after Punk's return, Seth Rollins had called him out on Twitter. Punk made it clear that he doesn't want to shoot angles on WWE Backstage. He further stated that Rollins should stop tweeting and that "it's better to be viewed at as the fool and shut your mouth, or open your mouth and remove all doubt".

It would be interesting to see what Rollins has to say in response to Punk's jibe.
