Many rumours were suggesting that this decision was taken for the sake of Roman Reigns but be seeing it this might not be the same case as it seems.

As per the rumour, Strowman has turned heel for the sake of himself and it was the decision of WWE officials. The possible reason coming out for this is that at Hell in a Cell he might end up losing to Roman Reigns in the Universal Championship match.
