A young former WWE RAW star could be recruited to join Bobby Lashley's faction on SmackDown.

Lashley and The Street Profits have been a faction for the last few months, but have not made much noise yet on the blue brand. The All Mighty has not competed in a match on SmackDown since his loss to Santos Escobar in the semifinals of the United States Championship tournament. Kevin Owens defeated Santos Escobar in the finals of the tournament and will challenge Logan Paul for the US Title at WWE Royal Rumble 2024.

Gable Steveson was drafted to RAW in 2021 but has never competed in a televised match on the main roster. The Olympic gold medalist was in action in a dark match last week at the New Year's Revolution edition of SmackDown.

Lashley has positioned himself as the leader of the faction that is now known as "The Pride". The former champion could be looking to add more singles stars to his group and there is a ton of upside with Gable Steveson. The young star hasn't been able to put it together yet to establish himself as a superstar but could flourish under the guidance of Bobby Lashley and The Pride faction.

Bill Apter is concerned about the future of Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits in WWE

Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently shared that he is concerned about the future of Bobby Lashley's faction on WWE SmackDown.

Speaking on an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Bill Apter pointed out that The Street Profits have not benefited from being aligned with Bobby Lashley on WWE SmackDown so far. Apter added that The Street Profits are a very talented team and he has not been a fan of the faction's presentation on television.

"I like the Street Profits. I like what they were before this whole gimmick thing. They were a good wrestling team. We thought they were going to split up and be singles. I'm not sure [that] I really love this whole gimmick they have got here. I don't know where it's going. But they are so talented in the ring, and this whole thing that they are doing with Lashley. I don't know; I think it has lowered them rather than making them more noticeable," explained Bill Apter. [37:20 – 38:20]

The Pride did not get off to the best start in 2023, but the faction could be getting set to have a major impact in 2024. It will be fascinating to see if Bobby Lashley decides to add any more members to the group moving forward on WWE SmackDown.
