3 Mistakes WWE must avoid making at Crown Jewel 2019

WWE must avoid these blunders at Crown Jewel

WWE Crown Jewel is almost upon us, and looking at the stacked card, it'll undoubtedly be an interesting show. The event will feature some big names, as always, with two renowned athletes set to make their in-ring WWE debut against two of the company's top Superstars. Several championships will be on the line, which means we could see a new champion at the end of the night.

At Crown Jewel, rivals will collide, feuds will be settled while new ones could be ignited. WWE is known for their questionable booking decisions, so in order for the pay-per-view to be an enjoyable and memorable show, here are three mistakes that the company must avoid making at the event.

#3 Seth Rollins defeating The Fiend to retain the Universal Championship

Seth Rollins retaining the Universal Championship will result in the fans turning on him

The BeastSlayer Seth Rollins has had a dominant run in WWE so far. He slayed The Beast Brock Lesnar twice, he defeated Braun Strowman clean and he beat up The Fiend Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell so bad that the latter was unable to continue. Rollins and The Fiend will clash once again for the Universal Championship, but this time, it'll be in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Wyatt is currently a SmackDown Superstar, so it doesn't really make sense why he is challenging for RAW's biggest prize. The 'Wild Card Rule' isn't around anymore (so says WWE), so right now we don't know what's going to happen if The Fiend wins the title. WWE made a mistake by putting these two up against each other, because neither of them can afford to lose.

Since we're on this road anyway and the match has already been confirmed, the best thing that could happen is for The Fiend to win the title. If he loses to Seth, his credibility will be ruined and the fans will turn on Seth Rollins.

#2 Tyson Fury squashing Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman is set to face 'The Gypsy King' Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel, a match which will see the undefeated boxer making his in-ring WWE debut. It's already obvious who's going to win this match. WWE loves bringing in people from outside the business to squash their Superstars, for some apparent reason.

The Monster Among Men has been a victim of bad booking lately. The company had the potential to turn him into an unstoppable force and give him a run as Universal Champion, but they've dropped the ball, once again. After this match, regardless of who wins, Strowman is going to continue competing in WWE while Fury will collect his cheque and return to boxing.

Strowman recently lost a match to Seth Rollins at Clash of Champions, and the worst thing that could happen is for him to be squashed by a man who has never wrestled in a WWE ring before. Strowman needs to win this match. WWE must not make the mistake of making him lose to Fury in a matter of minutes (or seconds).

#1 Cain Velasquez winning the WWE Championship

Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar know each other very well, and at Crown Jewel, they will clash for WWE's biggest prize; the WWE Championship. This will be the former's in-ring WWE debut, so by winning this match, he'll not only defeat Brock Lesnar once again, but he'll also become the WWE Champion.

If Velasquez manages to win the title, things will only get worse and the fans will not be happy. It's way too soon. He did defeat Lesnar at UFC, and if he loses, some people will question WWE's booking.

WWE must not make the mistake of handing Cain Velasquez the WWE Championship at Crown Jewel.
