Cole Vs Ciampa has potential to one of the best matches of 2019

The Blackheart had to relinquish the NXT Championship at the start of the year following a neck injury. Ciampa has initially supposed to face off against Johnny Gargano in the main event NXT Takeover: New York but the match had to be scrapped due to the then-NXT Champion's injury. Ciampa would appear at Takeover: New York following the main-event, hugging his real-life friend, Gargano, on his victory.

Ciampa also appeared at the pre-show panel for NXT Takeover: XXV where he gave an update on his injury status and said that he was coming to get back ' Goldie'. It was reported a few weeks ago that the former NXT Champion is very close to full recovery and his return time would be sometime in mid-August.

It's only a matter of time before Cole and Ciampa lock horns for the top prize in NXT and we believe that it should happen on the brand's debut on TV.

This is the biggest money match in NXT at the moment and something fans are dying to see especially after how Ciampa's reign came to an end earlier this year.

Cole vs Ciampa has 'Match of the Year' written all over it and would be a great way to introduce NXT to a wider audience.
