CM Punk and AJ Lee’s relationship is known to the WWE Universe. The WWE first made them an on-screen couple on TV in 2012. Before starting a relationship with Punk, Lee was in a storyline involving Daniel Bryan. However, the latter never confessed his love for Lee, and this is why she later turned her affections to his then rival, CM Punk.
This was probably a complicated storyline for the WWE Universe as the fans didn’t really understand what was happening in the storyline. After being an onscreen pair, Lee and Punk started dating and got married in 2014.
A lot of fans already know about their marriage as it was the day when CM Punk was fired from WWE.
