Will Sasha Banks quit WWE along with The Revival and head to AEW?
Will Sasha Banks quit WWE along with The Revival and head to AEW?

Last week, we came across many rumors of some WWE Superstars wanting to leave the company, and Sasha Banks is probably one of them, along with "The Revival" and many others.

Also in this piece, I have shed some light on Lars Sullivan recent issue and what the future holds for him in WWE. Is he's going to fight John Cena at WrestleMania 35 or not?

That being said, many superstars are rumored to return as early as on Raw and SmackDown Live after Royal Rumble PPV.

Therefore, let's start and see some of the prominent WWE rumors of this week. But by all means, these are just rumors and speculations, so take them with a pinch of salt.

#5 Hope Not - Sasha Banks and The Revival to head to AEW

When the news broke out, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder of The Revival have asked for their release, Sasha Banks also teased a move from the company and go to AEW. Also, as per the latest report, Sasha Banks isn't joking about her release from the company and go to AEW.

Considering this, if WWE manages to lose a talent like Sasha Banks then it'll be a shame for them as she's one of the top stars of the company.

Besides, one week from now Banks has her match booked at Royal Rumble PPV for the Raw Women's Title against Ronda Rousey.

Though she may not win the title from Rousey, there are still chances of her becoming a champion since it's many beleive that WWE will now try to push those stars who are asking for their release. Therefore, Sasha Banks may very well win the inaugural Women's Tag Team Titles, along with Bayley.

#4 Hope True - Luke Harper and Eric Rowan are cleared for return

Let's wait and see what this fresh start will bring to the table for them as they weren't around for several months, and in that time many things have changed.
Let's wait and see what this fresh start will bring to the table for them as they weren't around for several months, and in that time many things have changed.

Luke Harper and Eric Rowan of The Bludgeon Brother have been out of action for quite some time now. The latter suffered a bicep injury, while the former was dealing with a wrist injury.

Though we haven't seen the two former members of Wyatt Family for months now, this week Rowan was spotted at WWE Performance Centre and is cleared for return.

That being said, PWInsider notes that Harper and Rowan might return to SmackDown Live as early as next week.

Therefore, let's wait and see what this fresh start will bring to the table for them as they weren't around for several months, and in that time many things have changed.

#3 Hope Not - Lars Sullivan is screwed up

The Freak Lars Sullivan
The Freak Lars Sullivan

Lars Sullivan has been in limelight from two weeks for the bad reasons only.

Last week on Raw, Sullivan was scheduled to work in a pre-Raw dark match, but as per the rumors, either Lars didn't show up or he had an anxiety attack and went back home. Since then Lars Sullivan and WWE haven't been in touch.

Also this week on Raw, an angle was booked for Lars Sullivan. He was supposed to attack Cena following Raw, and WWE was going to use that video package for his official debut this coming week but Vince McMahon pulled the trigger on the very last moment.

That being said, a match between Sullivan and Cena was scheduled for WrestleMania 35 but due to the recent event the match is off the table now, and if that's not enough, some rumors are also suggesting that not only Lars Sullivan has killed his push, but also he might even be on the verge of being released from the company.

#2 Hope True - Kevin Owens to return on Raw after Royal Rumble

Kevin Owens has been out of action for several months now, and as per the latest report, Owens might return as early as on the day after Royal Rumble PPV, on Monday Night Raw.

Moreover, Joe Peisich of Barnburner’s Fired Up podcast notes that Owens might return as babyface rather than a heel, and start a feud with Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental Championship.

That being said, Owens return on Raw after Rumble isn't confirmed as the Wrestling Observer noted that there are chances of WWE holding off Owens until after WrestleMania 35 as following it WWE usually reboots their storylines.

Therefore, the return of Kevin Owens might happen soon but if WWE holds him till WrestleMania then it'll be a better decision as it'd open a lot of more feud options for him, rather than now involving him in a feud with "The Almighty".

#1 Hope Not - John Cena vs Lars Sullivan match at WrestleMania 35 to be replaced with Daniel Bryan vs John Cena

John Cena and Daniel Bryan
John Cena and Daniel Bryan

Earlier this month it was reported, WWE is considering a big WrestleMania match for the recent NXT call-up, Lars Sullivan.

Sullivan was reported to be squaring off against none other than the 16-time World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena.

With Cena vs. Sullivan's match off the table now, WWE is considering a match between John Cena and Daniel Bryan. Going into WrestleMania 35, the vet is believed to be still holding the WWE Championship.

Considering this, though a match between the former Leader of The Yes Movement and the GOAT sounds fantastic, if this matchup happens then it'd take the light away from current superstars, as a match at WrestleMania is enough for one superstar to change their career, and if WWE Championship is on the line then it could take their career to whole another level.

And as a match between Cena and Bryan won't do any good to the 16-time World Heavyweight Champion, therefore I think this kind of opportunity should be given to the superstars like, Samoa Joe or Mustafa Ali or maybe Andrade.
