#3. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has also disclosed who he thinks should be Vince McMahon's successor. The 69-year-old spent decades working in WWE as a color commentator. He also worked in other backstage roles, including Executive Vice President of Talent Relations.

Earlier this year, Ross said he believes Triple H will run WWE when The Chairman steps down.

"I always thought that [Triple H] would run the company when Vince decided to step away," he told Sports Illustrated Media Podcast.

Like JTG, the WWE Hall of Famer also addressed the rumors of WWE possibly getting sold. The current AEW color commentator believes The Game and his wife Stephanie McMahon should run the company even if the McMahon family decided to sell it.

"If I were going to sell WWE, who better to run it than Triple H and his wife? The DNA is there, the experience, Vince has given them a great opportunity to have more experience in upper management. The key thing is talent and television. One without the other doesn't make any money," Ross added.

Jim Ross left WWE in 2019. Later that same year, he signed a three-year contract with AEW. He is currently a color commentator and senior advisor in Tony Khan's company.
