#2 Will retire soon: Kane

Kane started his wrestling career in 1992 and since then, he has worked his heart out for the industry. He also had a decorated career in WWE and because of it, the fans still respect him.

However, due to his age, the former WWE Champion can’t work as efficiently as he once used to. Last year, he reunited the Brothers of Destruction along with The Undertaker to take on D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H) at Crown Jewel. And since then, he hasn’t returned to WWE programming and that’s because of his political duties.

A recent rumor also revealed that Kane is going to return to WWE soon as he is currently advertised for several live events which are going to happen later this month. However, this may no longer be the case as per the latest rumor.

#1 Retired this year: Batista

After years of requesting Vince McMahon, Batista finally got the match he always wanted to have and that was against his mentor, Triple H.

The former WWE Champion has successfully transitioned to an actor and it’s one of the major reasons why he wanted to end his wrestling career. Batista returned to WWE this year at Ric Flair’s birthday celebration and shocked the fans by attacking the 16-time World Champion. The Animal's actions enraged Triple H, who is Flair’s good friend, and then WWE booked a match between the two Superstars for WrestleMania 35.

And as expected, Batista lost the bout to Triple H and then retired from in-ring competition. Several weeks later, Chris Van Vliet interviewed him and asked if he is ever going to wrestle again to which Batista said:

"This is a real wrestling retirement. I am done. My in-ring career is over. I would love to go back on the show because I love the company and I believe in the product so I would go back and go on the show. If they ask me to go in the Hall of Fame I will. But I will not have another wrestling match. I will go broke before I have another wrestling match and I will not go and work for another promotion," he said via Fightful.
