The Road to WrestleMania has begun, and fans have started to speculate about the possible card for the show. As WrestleMania is WWE's biggest show, the buzz around the event has been insane. But, some very big stars may not wrestle on the show this year.

WWE will try its best to serve its fans something that they can remember for a long time. But, the company has an uphill climb in the absence of some of its most reliable superstars. For instance, the company doesn't have its top star Roman Reigns for this year's grand event. Yet, Reigns isn't the only big star who will not wrestle on April 7.

Here are four high profile WWE superstars who might not wrestle on this year's grand show.

#4 Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens had undergone double knee surgery in the month of October. The surgery has forced Owens to spend a significant amount of time on the sidelines.

However, Owens set Twitter buzzing recently with a tweet on February 2. In the tweet, Owens stated that he wrestled Adam Cole. Naturally, Owens' fans became excited. But, before anyone could get their hopes really high for the superstar's return, he followed it up with another tweet. In his follow-up tweet, Owens said,

"I appreciate people getting excited after my tweet earlier today but I’m beginning to put some furniture together in my house just now and I’m not coming back to @WWE until I’m done with that and I suck at it so I’ll see you all in a few months, maybe more. Thank you. Take care!"

Evidently, Owens will take his time to come back. And, we will have to wait a little while before we see Kevin Owens wrestling in the WWE ring again. Therefore, it's safe to say that Kevin Owens will probably not be a part of WrestleMania 35.

#3 The Undertaker

The Undertaker has become one of the reasons why WrestleMania has been so special over the years. The Undertaker's 21-win 'Mania streak' was one of the most celebrated streaks in pro-wrestling history until Lesnar defeated him at the annual event.

Well, the Road to WrestleMania 35 has already started. And, the rumours about The Phenom have started to float again. But, the rumours have been stating that The Undertaker may not wrestle at the MetLife Stadium on April 7. As we have reported earlier, WWE has planned to have The Undertaker do a cameo role at the event.

Things have only turned worse since that report. The Undertaker has removed all references to WWE from his social media bios. The legend has also mentioned a website address in his (social-media) bio to take bookings outside Vince McMahon’s organization.

Hence, fans have started to wonder if they will even see The Undertaker appear at the event, let alone wrestle.

#2 Batista/Triple H

The rumours of Batista wrestling Triple H at WrestleMania 35 haven’t ceased to exist. In spite of an injury to Triple H and Batista's busy schedule, WWE fans have kept wishing to see the two veterans fight on the show.

The hype surrounding the match is understandable, as the fans have been longing to see this match for a long time. But some bad news has come up lately. It has been reported that Triple H is unlikely to be fit to compete at WrestleMania. Realistically, Triple H has not been getting any younger, and it'd make no sense for 'The King of Kings' to wrestle, risking another serious injury.

In brief, we can probably say that Triple H will not have an in-ring battle on April 7. Similarly, it can also be said that Batista will not be making his wrestling comeback on the grand show.

#1 John Cena

There had been rumours floating around the internet about WWE finalizing John Cena to fight Lars Sullivan on the 'Road to WrestleMania'. It had come as great news for the 'Cenation'. Fans haven’t seen Cena wrestle a one-on-one match since his last year's WrestleMania bout against The Undertaker.

However, Lars Sullivan suffered an unfortunate anxiety attack in January. And, he has been absent from WWE ever since that attack. And we do not Sullivan to be back too soon, which also means that John Cena won't be wrestling anytime soon.

More recently, it has also been noted that Cena's current project will keep him busy till April 1, which will be the go-home episode of RAW for WrestleMania. So, Cena apparently doesn’t have the time to build a feud leading up to the grand show.

In conclusion, we can say that it's highly unlikely that John Cena will wrestle at WrestleMania 35.
