WWE Money in the Bank 2025 is tomorrow! The big-time Premium Live Event will be the second of the day, airing right after Worlds Collide. While both shows should be exciting, Money in the Bank certainly has the most buzz.
Stars such as Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez, Logan Paul, John Cena, Jey Uso, and Becky Lynch are booked for the show. The most anticipated bout of the card might be the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Solo Sikoa, Andrade, Penta, El Grande Americano, Seth Rollins, and LA Knight will all clash to win the Men's Money in the Bank briefcase. Seth Rollins is the favorite in the eyes of many, but he needs to be stopped by Roman Reigns.
This article will look at a handful of reasons why The OTC needs to return to programming for the first time in around a month and a half at Money in the Bank to take out Seth Rollins.
#4. Roman Reigns is a big star, and his presence is needed
Putting Seth Rollins aside for a moment, it is important to remember that Roman Reigns is one of the top stars in WWE. In fact, in the eyes of many, he is not only one of the top stars, but he is the biggest name in pro wrestling.
Roman is a needle mover, and he has been for quite a while. The Bloodline was successful in large part due to The Tribal Chief. That storyline is arguably the most successful in wrestling history, but certainly since the Attitude Era.
With some recent backlash against decisions made by WWE, a star like Roman Reigns is needed more than ever. He will help get fans enthusiastic about the product again, which is certainly necessary when there's so much negativity in the community at the moment. A return at Money in the Bank gets Roman back in the game.
#3. Sami Zayn made it clear that Seth Rollins cannot win Money in the Bank
Seth Rollins is part of a new stable in WWE. Beyond just the group, Rollins is now fully a heel. With that, he has made it clear that The Visionary must be the World Heavyweight Champion. Sami Zayn knows that's bad news, however.
During a promo with CM Punk on the most recent episode of RAW, The Underdog From The Underground made it clear that if Rollins wins the World Heavyweight Title, he'll have all the power. Winning Money in the Bank is what will get the WWE star that coveted belt, thanks to the contract that comes with it.
If Seth wins a World Championship, he will control RAW and perhaps the company as a whole—perhaps even more than Roman Reigns ever did with The Bloodline. Sami knows it, Punk knows it, and The OTC likely does too. He needs to stop The Visionary.
#2. The OTC was brutally assaulted by Seth's group
Revenge is a powerful motivator, and Roman Reigns has all of the reasons possible to want revenge on Seth Rollins and his new stable. First and foremost, Rollins shockingly aligned with Paul Heyman at WrestleMania in a moment that rocked WWE fans.
On the RAW after WrestleMania, things got worse for The OTC. In an effort to get revenge, he attacked Heyman and Rollins. Much to his chagrin and surprise, Bron Breakker showed up and laid the former WWE Champion out, even spearing him through a barricade.
Roman has been nursing his wounds ever since. There is no doubt that The Tribal Chief wants revenge. Costing Rollins the Money in the Bank briefcase would be sweet justice, and any damage to The Visionary in the process would be a bonus.
#1. Roman needs to be back for WWE Night of Champions
WWE's next Premium Live Events are Worlds Collide and Money in the Bank this Saturday. That isn't where the calendar ends for June, however. The Sports Entertainment juggernaut will be hosting another Premium Live Event later this month.
Night of Champions will be held on Saturday, June 28th. The show will be taking place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is notable, as Roman Reigns has historically been part of many of these massive Saudi Arabia events.
Given the need for a big star at the event, Roman Reigns needs to come back at Money in the Bank to set the wheels in motion for Night of Champions. Perhaps Rollins and Roman can go one-on-one at the big-time PLE?
