#3. Hope isn't true: WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk in bad health

Terry Funk is a WWE Hall of Famer but perhaps the greatest hardcore legend of all time
Terry Funk is a WWE Hall of Famer but perhaps the greatest hardcore legend of all time

The hardcore legend and WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk is now 77 years old. In an iconic career that spanned five decades, Funk gained his reputation as arguably the greatest hardcore wrestler ever.

He had several short retirements, one of which lasted only 11 days before he returned and eventually joined WWE. He only actually had a few short stints with the company, but that was enough for him to earn a place in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Unfortunately, the 77-year old legend isn't in good health at all. His wife Vicki Weaver died a couple of years ago and another WWE Hall of Famer, Don Muraco, revealed on his podcast that Terry Funk is disoriented and is suffering from dementia.

"I heard that Terry Funk is in a home for the disabled and dementia." Muraco said. "I know his wife passed away two or three years ago . . . I don't know who he's with or what's going on and Paul Orndorff as well. I saw a disturbing Facebook on him. He was disoriented in dementia"

We hope this isn't true, but it isn't something that a legend like Muraco would lie about. We wish Terry Funk the best.
