5 Biggest Brock Lesnar moments you probably didn't know were actually unscripted

It has been 18 years since Brock Lesnar first appeared on WWE's main roster for the first time. He became one of the biggest Superstars in all of WWE in a matter of months and defeated The Rock at SummerSlam 2002 to become the youngest WWE Champion ever. Lesnar's initial run lasted two years, following which he became a mainstream star in UFC.

In 2012, Lesnar returned to WWE and is still going strong eight long years later. Lesnar is regarded by many as one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time and has had his fair share of classic encounters with the likes of Kurt Angle, Triple H, and John Cena.

In this slideshow, we'll be taking a look at some interesting moments in Lesnar's career that were actually unscripted. It isn't often that Superstars break the script, and it's bound to become major news when someone of the stature of Lesnar does it.

#5 Brock Lesnar breaks character to help Drew McIntyre get over with the fans

On the road to WrestleMania 36, Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre collided on an episode of WWE RAW. McIntyre hit a string of Claymore Kicks on Lesnar, with one of those spots taking place on the entrance ramp. As soon as McIntyre put Lesnar down, he got all pumped up and forgot the script in the process.

Lesnar could be heard telling Drew to "pick up the belt" so that the angle could be put across properly. The Scottish Psychopath listened to The Beast immediately, and picked up the WWE title. McIntyre went on to defeat Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 to win the WWE title for the first time in his career. Lesnar was hailed by fans on social media following the unscripted incident, for doing his best to put over his opponent.

#4 Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar break the script on an episode of WWE RAW

A short while before the 2020 WWE Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman made their way to RAW and announced that Lesnar would be entering the annual free-for-all at #1, despite being the top Champion. Jerry "The King" Lawler later revealed that the final few moments of the segment were unscripted.

We could just see the cameras and we just assumed that they [the viewers] are seeing us, and all of a sudden I feel this hand on my shoulder and I’m like, ‘What the hell?’ and it’s Brock Lesnar, and he’s brushing aside and walking past me.

Then I look over to my right and there, of course, is Paul Heyman, and he said, ‘Come on, come on, King, talk nice, talk nice,’ and that was totally off the top of his head and I had no idea they were going to be there.

Lesnar went on to eliminate 13 Superstars in the match before being thrown out by Drew McIntyre to a huge pop. McIntyre would go on to defeat Lesnar to win his first WWE title at The Show of Shows.

#3 Brock Lesnar bursts into laughter during SummerSlam match with The Undertaker

By the time SummerSlam 2015 came around, the rivalry between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker had reached a boiling point. Lesnar had defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 a year ago, breaking his legendary streak in the process. The rivalry resumed on the road to The Biggest Party of the Summer. During the match, Lesnar looked at The Deadman at one point and began randomly laughing. The Undertaker responded with laughing back at Lesnar, in a hilarious moment. The Undertaker later recalled the moment and explained what had happened.

We both took bumps, and then I did the signature set-up. He was up, and I sat up. He started laughing so mine was kind of an evil, sarcastic laugh back at him. I was shocked at the people’s [reaction]. They were so enthralled by the way that we were laughing at each other.

The unscripted moment turned into one of the most popular wrestling memes of all time. As for the match, The Undertaker defeated Lesnar in a controversial finish to end the show.

#2 Brock Lesnar's controversial promo when he crashed Hulk Hogan's party

John Cena and Brock Lesnar resumed their 2012 rivalry on the road to SummerSlam 2014. Cena was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the time and The Beast was determined to go to great lengths to win the belt. Mere days before the event, WWE celebrated Hulk Hogan's birthday on RAW, which saw a string of legends and Hall of Famers appearing alongside Hogan. Lesnar came out with Paul Heyman and crashed the party.

He confronted Hogan, and uttered the words, "Party's over, Grandpa!" It was later revealed that Lesnar's words were completely unscripted and it was The Beast himself who came up with the line. Hogan was clearly upset at what had happened and later expressed his anger over the promo.

It’s not cool brother. I know this is all entertainment. You know we’re supposed to have fun with it but when he starts throwing my name around, with my wife and my kids, it’s crossing the line.

As was expected, Lesnar didn't respond to Hogan's comments. He went on to squash Cena at SummerSlam to win the WWE World Heavyweight title.

#1 Brock Lesnar laughs out loud over R-Truth's antics

Shortly before the 2020 Royal Rumble PPV, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman were cutting a promo on RAW, explaining how The Beast was going to win the match. Suddenly, R-Truth of all people appeared and confronted the duo. Truth declared that he would win the free-for-all, and then stated that even though Heyman is a "big, big, BIG man", he'll be sent flying over the top rope.

This promo made Lesnar completely lose it and he burst out laughing over Truth's hilarious lines. In reality, Lesnar was not supposed to laugh as per the script but he couldn't help himself at the moment. Later, Truth revealed that Lesnar was pitching more ideas to WWE to work with him.

He wants to work with me doing something because of that [last] segment. He pitched a couple ideas. He and I talked afterwards. The sky's the limit. The business is always changing, and I'm always changing with things.

With how the segment turned out, fans certainly won't mind seeing these two incredibly entertaining Superstars share the ring once again.
