#4: Chris Jericho destroyed Matt Hardy's drone and challenged The Elite to a Stadium Stampede Match

"Pineapple Pete" Suge D got a huge opportunity against Chris Jericho in singles competition on AEW Dynamite.

For weeks, Jericho has been unintentionally putting over Pineapple Pete on commentary. Last night, he made quick work of Suge D before moving on to the bigger picture.

After a wild street fight in the previous episode, Jericho took it one step further and challenged The Elite to a Stadium Stampede Match at AEW Double or Nothing. Matt Hardy's trademark drone, Vanguard One, arrived to accept the challenge, but Le Champion had different plans this time around.

He introduced a baseball bat as The Inner Circle's latest member, and dubbed it "Floyd".

Jericho and the gang used "Floyd" to destroy Vanguard One forever, as Matt Hardy arrived to mourn its loss a few moments later.

This was a goofy segment that stuck out from an otherwise plain episode of AEW Dynamite. Some of The Elite's prominent members have been missing in action for quite a while now, that should change next week as we only have one episode left before AEW Double or Nothing.
