#1 Will cinematic matches become the norm?
During the first night of the show, fans were treated to a WrestleMania main event like weโve never seen before. Even though it was the main event for the first night, it was something that the fans will remember for a very long time.
WWE has no plans for these former AEW wrestlers? Here's why!
The Undertaker took on AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match, and even though fans werenโt sure what to expect from it, they got much more than they could have asked for by the end of the show.
The second night saw โThe Fiendโ Bray Wyatt challenge John Cena to a bizarre Firefly Fun House match. WWE capitalized on the situation again to deliver a stellar match.
With so much success in these two matches, fans now want to know whether such cinematic gimmick matches become a norm in the company. Yes, we have seen matches like these from Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, and several other Superstars before, but the ones we witnessed on WrestleMania this year enjoyed far greater success.
We would have never gotten such gimmicks had the situation been normal and the fans were in attendance. Therefore, will WWE look to hold such matches once things settle down and fans start filling in seats again, or will they be tempted to go back to matches in the arena only, keeping the battle within the ring?
