5 Botches, slip-ups, and outrageous moments from WWE SmackDown Live (February 28th, 2017)

The moment we were all waiting for

#1 Straight up arson

Randy Orton won the 2017 Royal Rumble and briefly decided that he didn’t want to face his “master” Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship. By the end of this episode of SmackDown, The Viper re-inserted himself into the main event at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Outrageous is the best way to describe this closing segment of the show. There were creepy worms/maggots, talk of the deceased Sister Abigail, and of course a backwoods shack that was burned to the ground.

There’s always been an odd presentation to this rivalry and this segment furthered the pair’s strange story. Somehow, this works for them. It’s different, but in an intriguing way that makes me want to tune in to see what’s next.

Of course, the newly crowned Number 1 Contender A.J. Styles adds yet another layer to the WWE Championship drama. How will he play a factor in all of this? Also, is Luke Harper truly done with his title bid? WWE has my attention, for sure.
