#2 John Cena puts over Damian Priest in a backstage segment
John Cena's debut in 2002 was one of the most memorable ones in WWE history. He answered Kurt Angle's open challenge and had a great showing. Cena was then congratulated backstage by the then world champion The Undertaker, in a segment that instantly put him over as the next big thing.
Earlier this year, former NXT North American Champion Damian Priest also had a similar moment backstage following his RAW debut with WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Many compared the interaction between The Rated-R Superstar and Priest to that between The Undertaker and John Cena.
Vince McMahon is reportedly high on Damian Priest and we might see Cena put him over in a backstage segment on RAW tonight. From the looks of it, Priest is set for a SummerSlam showdown against United States Champion Sheamus that might just kick-start his proper singles push on the main roster.
#1 John Cena teams up with Drew McIntyre in the main event of RAW
The men's Money in the Bank match saw massive outside interference as Jinder Mahal, Veer, and Shanky took out Drew McIntyre. Former 3MB members McIntyre and Mahal are likely headed towards a SummerSlam match, but The Scottish Warrior is clearly outnumbered right now.
He is one of the biggest babyfaces on RAW right now and we might just see him have a one-night alliance with John Cena tonight. Cena and McIntyre teaming up would surely be a great main event for the RAW after Money in the Bank.
