Triple H, real name: Paul Levesque, has made such a huge impact in shaping WWE the way it is today, and without him, it's quite impossible to see the company moving forward into a new and brighter future.

Starting his wrestling career in 1994 with WCW, Triple H has been one of the biggest all-time wrestlers in WWE, having feuded with all the major superstars and beaten most of them. He is a 14 time World Champion, only behind John Cena and Ric Flair who tie at 16 championships each.

Other than that, Triple H is also a 2-time Royal Rumble winner, a grand slam champion, King of the Ring, and has headlined WrestleMania 7 times in his career.

After working as a wrestler for numerous years, Hunter is currently the COO and the Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events, and Creative of WWE. He has been winning the hearts of wrestling fans by producing amazing shows in NXT, the developmental brand of WWE, which is produced by him.

Triple H recently got inducted into the Hall of Fame this year as part of D-Generation X. With age not being on his side, and him being the obvious choice to take over the company after Vince, one has to wonder how long before The Game decides to call it a day.

In this article, let's take a look at the 5 superstars who can retire the Cerebral Assassin, Triple H. Feel free to share your thoughts, views, and opinions on who deserves to get the honor to retire one of the biggest legends in the business.

#5 Finn Balor

WWE has a huge star on their hands in the form of Finn Balor, and if they utilize him properly, he can rise to the top. After his terrific run in New Japan as the leader of the famous Bullet Club and a ruthless heel, Finn Balor has been turned into a smiling babyface by WWE.

While it did work to some extent, as the massive amount of support Balor gets from the WWE Universe is amazing, however, it's been so long that casual WWE fans have forgotten how amazing a heel Balor was.

Triple H has been a huge supporter of Finn ever since his time in NXT where he had an amazing run with the NXT Championship, before moving on to the main roster in mid-2016.

After having a lackluster 2018, Balor is currently having a good time as the Intercontinental Champion, but one can't stop to wonder what's next for him? With him being on SmackDown, WWE has a great opportunity to turn him heel and push him in the main title scene of the blue brand.

But before that, a feud between a heel Balor and Triple H would be mouth-watering. We all know Triple H loves to put over younger talents by working with them, and Balor is one of the top superstars and my candidate to get a rub from the Game.

But imagine Balor challenging Triple H for a retirement match and defeating him to put an end to his career. His stock would skyrocket to a whole new level.

#4 Braun Strowman

This feud never kicked off!
This feud never kicked off!

Let's take a stroll down memory lane - Survivor Series 2017, Team RAW vs Team SmackDown. It was Triple H and Braun Strowman who ended up being the sole survivors for Team RAW, but what followed next was amazing.

While celebrating, Braun Strowman picked up Hunter and drove him onto the mat with a thundering Powerslam. This attack seemed like the start of a massive feud between them, but we never got to see any payoff for this segment.

WWE can certainly pick-up this story sometime in the future and build a rivalry between Hunter and Braun. The Monster Among Men defeating the Game and retiring him would be the boost his career needs to get to the next level, as he has been quite stale lately.

#3 AJ Styles

Triple H vs AJ Styles would in a way resemble Hunter's iconic feud with the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels. Much like AJ Styles right now, Shawn was the best wrestler in the world back then. And Triple H, well, he's the King of Kings.

Remember Styles attacking Vince McMahon on the last SmackDown of 2018? It sure looked like something huge was being cooked in the writer's room of WWE, but it never turned out to be that way.

Although there's no confirmation, I do believe someone would have come up with the idea of Triple H stepping up for his father-in-law and feuding with Styles in an Anti-hero vs Authority storyline.

Styles feuding with Triple H would be a blockbuster rivalry, which would end with not only Styles winning, but also Hunter ending his career with a top-class match.

#2 Robert Roode

They have quite a lot in common!
They have quite a lot in common!

Remember the massive pop that these two got in a mini-faceoff during Survivor Series 2017? Robert Roode in many ways resembles the COO of WWE. Be it the looks, the body style, or even the move-set, Roode and Triple H do have a lot in common. I personally wanted to see a match between The Bear Money and DX, but it doesn't look like that will ever happen.

Ever since Roode signed with WWE, fans have been waiting to see a match between Triple H and whom some considered TNA's Triple H. A match between them, leading to Robert retiring Triple H would be a huge accomplishment in Roode's career and could make him the biggest name on the main roster.

#1 Dean Ambrose

"Do you need to ask permission from your father-in-law first?"

While Dean Ambrose has left WWE as of now, during the build-up to WrestleMania 35, there was one segment between Ambrose and Triple H which looked like WWE was planning a feud between them down the line.

The rumors are that this whole Dean Ambrose thing is for him to take a 6-month break from the company and come back as a fresher superstar. When and if he does come back, he'll surely be a main-eventer, and if he's not in the title picture, the best thing would be a feud with Triple H.

Hunter has elevated both of his other Shield brothers with feuds against them, giving them a rub, and he could do the same for Ambrose, maybe a lot more if he lets Dean be the one to retire him.
