5 Dream Brock Lesnar matches the WWE Universe is yet to see

Brock Lesnar is still a big deal without the title
Brock Lesnar is still a big deal without the title

Brock Lesnar lost the Universal Championship at SummerSlam in what was a comprehensive win for one Mr. Seth Rollins. But rest assured, that even without a title, Brock Lesnar will be a big deal whenever he chooses to return.

With Paul Heyman at the helm, running things, it was recently reported that he wants Lesnar to not be a part of the Universal Championship picture going forward. But that allows for a variety of dream feuds that we have not seen before.

In this article, I shall explore 5 possibilities that could unfold on our television screens in the months that follow. Each one of them is a big-ticket match and not really something we've seen.

Here are 5 feuds that we could potentially see Brock Lesnar be a part of...

#5 Lars Sullivan

Lars Sullivan is a freak of nature in the truest sense of the word and before he got injured, he was portrayed as a bully who showed no compassion at all for his WWE opponents. One glance at him and you realize instantly why he is the perfect challenger for Brock Lesnar's throne, not just in a match but for when Lesnar finally decides to hang up his boots. In fact, I believe that when the two men do clash the match in itself may be a passing of the torch from one beast to another!

A match between the two is inevitable and from what I know Brock Lesnar is a big fan of Lars Sullivan as well. In fact, this is what Sports Illustrated revealed about Lesnar's fandom of Sullivan:

Sullivan even affected the notoriously hard-to-impress Brock Lesnar, who made an unprecedented trip to the WWE Performance Center in 2015 specifically to work with Sullivan.

#4 Drew McIntyre

Brock Lesnar is an absolute physical specimen, and there are few in the world that can actually size up against him for a believable clash. By the same token, there are very few individuals across the world that look and have the same kind of presence that Drew McIntyre has. The man is an absolute monster, and in this particular case, McIntyre and Lesnar could have a very big match, indeed!

It is absolutely baffling why Vince McMahon has not made Drew McIntyre the WWE Universal Champion yet because he has all the tools it takes to be the top guy for any promotion. Maybe McMahon is just biding his time for McIntyre to score a host of impressive victories against the likes of challengers like The Beast Incarnate himself. Maybe even become the King of the Ring before this feud happens.

A feud against McIntyre is something that even Lesnar could benefit from, because for a change, he'll be working with someone who sizes up to him and actually looks like he could have a believable contest.

#3 Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley may be out nursing an injury but he's made it very clear on social media that he wants a program with Brock Lesnar somewhere down the line. Fans have been asking for this match since the time he was in TNA because the two men have a similar background, both hailing from the world of Mixed Martial Arts!

Now while Lesnar has been protected and portrayed as a really big deal on WWE television, Lashley, on the other hand, has not been protected in much the same manner. The whole program with Sami Zayn where he had made performers portray Bobby Lashley's sisters was pretty much a death knell for him.

A program with Lesnar will elevate Lashley but it is almost certain to be a match where Lesnar picks up the win in no time at all, considering how both men have been portrayed thus far. Even if that were to be a case, it would be a massive step up in the revival of Bobby Lashley, in order to make him the dominant machine that he was during his TNA run.

But yes, Lashley vs. Lesnar should happen at some point down the line.

#2 The Fiend

Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar should have been a much bigger deal than it turned out to be in what was essentially a throwaway match at WWE Roadblock back in 2016. It wasn't even a singles match but instead a 2-on-1 handicap match that also featured Luke Harper. In any sense, that was in the past, and Bray Wyatt arguably has the most 'over' gimmick in the world of pro wrestling at this point in time.

I think that The Fiend vs. Brock Lesnar is a match that is waiting to happen and when it does, it's going to be a huge success from a box office perspective. You don't usually see someone like Brock Lesnar terrified of anyone else, but this is an angle that can potentially be explored in this particular match. In this match, you could have Lesnar on the backfoot, scared of The Fiend.

One would assume that this match would be a lot different than how the first encounter between the two men went, with The Fiend essentially no selling a lot of the offense that Lesnar would launch at him. The Fiend would be made, if he can potentially pin Brock Lesnar.

#1 Ricochet

I know what a lot of you are thinking at the moment. While the men that I've mentioned earlier in the list can size up physically to Brock Lesnar, Ricochet seems like a mismatch at least on paper.

But then again, we have seen time and again that all of Brock Lesnar's best matches have been against opponents smaller than him. Whether it was CM Punk, or AJ Styles, or Daniel Bryan or even Finn Balor, Brock Lesnar played the part of the monster heel to perfection, getting the opponent to root for the babyface against him, a colossus who just would not be mowed down!

And one may argue that Ricochet falls into pretty much the same category and has, in fact, come up in the industry inspired by the gentlemen that I've named as Brock Lesnar's best main roster opponents. He is also clearly in line for what seems like a massive push and there is no better way to make a name for yourself than to have a competitive match with the top name in sports entertainment today- Brock Lesnar.
