Royal Rumble has been a major platform for WWE to elevate a Superstar to the top of the mountain. Last year, we saw former NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler enter the Royal Rumble at No. 30, destroy everyone in the ring, and almost win the match before getting eliminated last at the hands of Charlotte Flair.

WWE might book another former NXT Women's Champion in a similar way this year but go all the way to let her win the match this time. Yes, we are talking about the first-ever NXT UK Women's Champion Rhea Ripley. Recent reports suggest that Rhea Ripley is done with NXT and could join the main roster anytime. What better way to announce your entry on the main roster than by winning the Royal Rumble match and challenging the champion.

In the last few years, we've seen several NXT Superstars enter the Royal Rumble and deliver a great performance. However, none of them has managed to actually win the match. That could change this year with Rhea Ripley entering the Royal Rumble and winning it. Rhea Ripley vs. Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 37 would be a great match.
