#2 WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns: Then and Now
Roman Reigns: Then and Now

Roman Reigns made his main roster debut as part of the famous faction The Shield at WWE Survivor Series 2012. Alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns dominated the scene on RAW and SmackDown, even taking out legends like The Undertaker. While Rollins was The Architect and Ambrose the lunatic one, Roman Reigns was the powerhouse of The Shield.

Yet, Roman Reigns wasn't known for a great physique, partially because he always used to wrestle under a tank top, and partially because he didn't really have a great physique back then. But things have changed now as Roman Reigns worked on his body and is now arguably in the best shape of his career.

After taking a break from WWE just before WrestleMania 36, Reigns returned at SummerSlam 2020 with a new look and attitude. He then aligned himself with Paul Heyman and turned into a full-blown heel, winning the Universal Championship at WWE Payback 2020.

He has since adopted the gimmick of The Tribal Chief and is doing some of the best work of his career, something for which he is getting praised from fans as well as critiques.
