When he was in WCW in the mid to late 90s, Big Show was incredibly agile and fast for someone his size. He carried the momentum and energy to WWE when he made his first appearance at St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Big Show went on to become one of the most dominant giants in the history of WWE, and won numerous championships. What alarmed many was how he was gaining weight at a rapid pace.

There was a time when he weighed a whopping 500 pounds, which certainly wasn't healthy for him. Big Show later worked on his body and cut his weight dramatically. He credited John Cena for inspiring him to work on himself.
I said, ‘Who would want to see a giant with abs?’ John just looked at me deadpan and goes, ‘Yeah. A giant with abs — who would want to see that?’ And he walked off.
Cena is one of the most respected veterans in the industry, and he gained the respect of many more fans when Big Show revealed that his weight-loss journey kicked off with a discussion with the 16-time WWE World Champion.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
