WWE Fastlane 2019 is finally in the books after so much anticipation for the event. This was the final stop on the "Road to WrestleMania" and now we are heading to the Show of Shows.

There were no title changes in this show but lots of changes were made to matches at the last moment. Mustafa Ali was added in the WWE Championship match making it a triple threat involving the champion Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens.

The new United States Champion defended his title in a Fatal 4-Way Match against former champion R-Truth, Andrade and Rey Mysterio, and Kofi Kingston who demanded Vince McMahon to insert him in the WWE Title match was forced to face The Bar in a 2-on-1 handicap match.

But this pay-per-view hinted us the possible matches we could get at WrestleMania 35 this year. So here are five matches that might happen at the Show of Shows following Fastlane...

#5 Shane McMahon vs. The Miz

This match has been rumored for a long time, since the time Shane McMahon replaced an injured The Miz to win the WWE World Cup at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, he was expected to face Miz going forward at WrestleMania 35.

After losing their SmackDown Tag Team Titles rematch against The Usos at WWE Fastlane, Shane McMahon turned heel and attacked Miz, possibly building a feud between the duo at the Show of Shows.

This heel turn was a smart move from WWE's side because WWE Fastlane took place in Miz's hometown Cleveland, Ohio. So, Shane turning heel and taking down the hometown hero received a huge negative reaction which is good for this rivalry.

Now, Shane and Miz are not the best in-ring competitors and a match between them doesn't sound exciting, but with Shane turning heel, this could mean we are headed for a Miz babyface turn which fans have been clamoring to see.

#4 Sasha Banks and Bayley (c) vs. Beth Phoenix and Natalya (WWE Women's Tag Team Title Match)

The Boss 'n' Hug Connection successfully retained their WWE Women's Tag Team Titles in their first title defense against Nia Jax and Tamina at WWE Fastlane. But what happened after the match was quite shocking and interesting.

After the match, Jax and Tamina attacked Sasha Banks and Bayley. Then there was an intense staredown between Tamina and Beth Phoenix who was commentating the contest. Suddenly Phoenix struck a forearm on Tamina and Jax came from behind to save her partner.

Both began a 2-on-1 attack on Phoenix until Natalya entered to help her longtime friend. But even she was put down by the duo. Now, it seems the Divas of Doom are going to reunite one more time.

Banks and Bayley were rumored to defend their titles against any past team and the Divas of Doom seem a great option. Jax and Tamina could also be possibly involved but they have already lost their title match. So, giving them another title shot doesn't make sense.

#3 Asuka (c) vs. Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville (Triple Threat Match for SmackDown Women's Title)

SmackDown Women's Champion Asuka retained her title against Mandy Rose at WWE Fastlane, thanks to Rose's partner Sonya Deville whose little assistance made it easy for the champion to overcome his challenger.

The title match between Asuka and Rose was a good contest, but in the end, she slipped on the ring apron because Deville was looking under the ring. Asuka took advantage of this situation and nailed a kick to her face to keep her title.

After the match, Deville was trying to apologize to Rose but she just kept walking and ignoring her. Now, obviously this is leading to a break-up between the duo; we saw a glimpse of it last month at Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. But it seems this team will finally split in the coming weeks.

Since Asuka doesn't have an opponent for WrestleMania 35 yet, it looks like this feud will continue at the event. A triple threat match between the champion Asuka, Rose and Deville could be on the cards of the WrestleMania this year.

#2 The Revival (c) vs. Aleister Black and Ricochet (Raw Tag Team Titles Match)

The Revival also retained their Raw Tag Team Titles against former champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable and the new NXT call-ups Aleister Black and Ricochet at WWE Fastlane. This contest was one of the biggest highlights of the show for its in-ring action.

After the match, Dash Wilder tried to attack Black when he entered the ring, but Ricochet arrived at the right moment and hit a big 630 on the Revival member. It seems that the feud between The Revival and Black and Ricochet will continue going into WrestleMania 35.

One thing to note in this match is The Revival pinned Gable after a shatter machine. This means Roode and Gable are out of the title picture following this pay-per-view, that would make way for Black and Ricochet to face the champions next in a one-on-one battle.

The Raw tag team division has been lackluster for the past one year. But the arrival of Black and Ricochet has made things interesting, and there is no other better team who can challenge The Revival. So, a match between the two teams at the Show of Shows would be a right move from WWE.

#1 Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Kofi Kingston (WWE Title Match)

On the WWE Fastlane kickoff show, Kofi Kingston was informed that the McMahon Family wants to talk to him about the WWE Title match. Vince McMahon met The New Day backstage and informed Kingston that the WWE Title match would be a Triple Threat and that Woods and Big E were banned from ringside, also telling him to go to the ring right then.

As soon as Kingston arrived in the ring, The Bar got introduced as Kingston's opponents in a 2-on-1 handicap match and defeated Kingston easily. Later in the show, Mustafa Ali was the third Superstar added in the WWE Championship match.

Daniel Bryan defeated Mustafa Ali and Kevin Owens at WWE Fastlane to retain his title in a great contest with some assistance from Rowan. The on-going storyline between the McMahons and Kingston is hinting us that he will be challenging the WWE Champion at WrestleMania 35.

Already, he is rumored to face Bryan at the Grandest Stage of Them All, but it's possible WWE makes it a Fatal 4-Way match also involving Owens and Ali. However, Kingston should get his one-on-one match after being denied his title opportunity again and again.
