Drew McIntyre has been on quite a run since returning to WWE. He had an amazing run in NXT. He competed in some of the best matches in NXT history and even became the NXT Champion. He debuted on the main roster after WrestleMania 34.
Since his main roster debut, the 'Scottish Psychopath' has defeated many excellent wrestlers. He has given amazing performances and has solidified his position as the top heel on Raw. He has been heavily protected since his debut and according to some reports he is in line for a major push in 2019.
That major push could start at the Grandest Stage of Them All. McIntyre will definitely be involved in a major match at WrestleMania and if he isn't in the Universal Title picture at Wrestlemania, I could see him facing John Cena.
Cena vs McIntyre is a big money match. A match with John Cena at WrestleMania would be an ideal place to establish Drew McIntyre as the next top guy and would also boost his credibility.
