As bold as this statement may sound, WWE's booking of RETRIBUTION is only a shadow of the way that they have booked themselves on social media. On RAW, week after week, they come across as a throwaway, aimless, bizarre group of individuals. However, on Twitter, there seems to be a sense of direction and purpose for them.
True. Personally, I’d love to become the United States Champion. Because then I get to call myself this country’s champion and boy, you would love that. https://t.co/CJly9rD0Xx
Last year, we were treated to a Hurt Business vs. RETRIBUTION feud that got underway but never really took off. WWE could revisit that at Elimination Chamber 2021. Could RETRIBUTION surround the ring during the US Championship match?
Ali has made it clear that he has his eyes set on the WWE United States Championship at this point in time. This is the best way to insert himself into the title picture, ahead of WrestleMania. Maybe Mustafa Ali, the ultimate heel, goes up against Bobby Lashley, who turns babyface through the course of this feud at WrestleMania for the US Championship.
