#3 What is happening with John Cena?
This is perhaps WWE’s biggest issue. The poster boy for WWE’s way of life and its merchandise, John Cena, is unable to garner the respect of the WWE universe. He has singlehandedly carried the company on his shoulder for over a decade and the fans are done and dusted with the leader of the Cenation.
With constant boo’s, anti-Cena chants and total detest, the WWE universe are making it clear that Cena does not sell anymore. Cena himself has visibly grown upset over his treatment at the hands of his fans and one more title run for him will only add to WWE’s agony.
Cena turning heel is an option that WWE cannot afford, but may try experimenting on. It is unfortunate to see that what was once WWE’s biggest draw is now its biggest Achilles heel.
