#3 SmackDown Live remains consistently competitive
Some of the best storylines on WWE programming has unquestionably been on Smackdown Live. One thing that has, without question, stood out about Smackdown Live is that there is a sense of reality in every promo and verbal exchange between talent.
A talented worker can tell a story in the ring with their actions, but a well-written promo that almost breaks kayfabe embraces what sports entertainment has become. We need to look no farther than the recent exchange between The Miz, Maryse, John Cena and Nikki Bella.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
Was there legitimate strife between the Bellas and Maryse?
Rumours have circulated about politicking by the Bellas and Cena in the past, and toying with the idea that there were issues in the past, helps give an air of reality to the storyline. Bray Wyatt has been the WWE champion, so has AJ Styles, and John Cena tied Ric 's world championship record.
Their shorter program allows for younger talent to develop and be engaged in meaningful and interesting programs. There is no reason to believe that will stop anytime soon either.
