5 Shocking plans WWE could use to boost Monday Night Raw

Are we ready for this?
Are we ready for this?

Judging by how things transpired on Monday Night Raw, one thing is for sure that the critics and fans alike are very vocal about the downfall of the entire red brand, and deservedly so.

Monday Night Raw is suffering from stale storytelling and the lack of creativity which legions of fans expect, especially during this time of the year when things heat up for WrestleMania.

Considering that WWE hasn't really lived up to what they had promised, they still have a legitimate opportunity to right their wrongs on the red brand.

Vince McMahon's negligence could really cost him a lot, with the ratings dropping so rampantly and the growth of All Elite Wrestling which is really garnering a lot of hype.

If there's a momentous time for the company to gravitate the audience with some clever writing and giving the fans what they want, they can really advance the Road to WrestleMania 35 with intriguing storylines.

So, what will Mr. McMahon do to shock the world and boost the ratings of Monday Night Raw? Let's find out.

Here are the 5 shocking plans you won't believe WWE could make to boost Monday Night Raw.

#1 Seth Rollins wins Royal Rumble match but opts to face AJ Styles for WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35

The rage is still there
The rage is still there

If storylines and current momentum is anything to take into consideration, then Seth Rollins and AJ Styles could run riot at WrestleMania 35 with a classic for the ages.

Both the superstars are put in a similar spot on different brands, with the Phenomenal One unleashing his real side to lock horns with Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble.

Since the spotlight has been thrown on both the superstars, there's a genuine possibility that the company could be planning something shocking.

Judging by their characters at the moment, both of them could very well bottle that rage within and collide at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

With Vince McMahon and Triple H both playing pivotal roles in pushing these two performers, Rollins winning the Royal Rumble only to challenge the 'Real' A.J. Styles would be absolutely 'Phenomenal'.

While Brock Lesnar Vs. Seth Rollins definitely seems like a good option as well, but booking these two stars who are garnering so much momentum at the moment would only increase the hype for WrestleMania 35.

Imagine the Architect wanting to do whatever it takes to end AJ Styles' legacy at the Show of Shows. These two stars could legitimately bring respect to the WWE Championship.

With regular appearances on both brands, the viewership of both brands would certainly increase and would give the fans a dream match that they always wanted to see.

#2 The Wyatt Family costing Braun Strowman the Universal Championship and introducing Lars Sullivan as their new member

Time to heat things up
Time to heat things up

Let's get things straight here - Braun Strowman is highly unlikely to walk out of Chase Field in Arizona as the new Universal Champion.

While the Monster Among Men shares a respectable fan following within the industry, the creative team haven't really presented him as a force to reckon with, especially in his feuds with Brock Lesnar.

The Beast Incarnate always gets the better off him and Strowman ends up diminishing his credibility. There's no way he would be able to slay the Mayor of Suplex City and win the Universal Championship.

However, if Vince McMahon puts a restart to his plans, then he could certainly bring some legitimacy to Monday Night Raw, especially to the Monster Among Men.

The Wyatt Family interfering and costing Strowman his golden opportunity definitely makes sense and would give every reason for him to go after the Eater of Worlds.

But, this plan awaits a surprise and that is Lars Sullivan. Sullivan has all the credentials in the world to be a top star under Vince McMahon and that's what he will be pushed to be.

Introducing Sullivan as Bray's new Monster would only add up to the compelling storylines that we will see transpire throughout the WrestleMania season.

We know that the Cult Leader is highly regarded for his mic work and selling bouts through his weird promos. Sullivan's inclusion would only hype this feud and make things more compelling for the build-up to the Grandest Stage of Them All.

#3 Drew McIntyre promises to retire the Undertaker and make an example out of him at WrestleMania 35

The Terminator Vs. The Phenom is money
The Terminator Vs. The Phenom is money

While a lot of fans share conflicted opinions upon The Undertaker's current in-ring status, with the Phenom's in-ring quality being questioned on multiple occasions.

Considering how poor his last performances were, the fans definitely expect the former World Champion to close the curtain on an incredible career and embrace what he left for the world.

There's no denying that the Undertaker's quality as a professional wrestler is digging his own grave, but a possible feud with Drew McIntyre could be extremely special.

The Scottish Terminator is everything that the Undertaker needs at this stage of his career, with the former NXT Champion constantly mocking legends who have made a name for themselves in this business.

Since he's already taken shots at Kurt Angle and Dolph Ziggler, his recent altercation with John Cena only proves that he will be in for a money match at the Show of Shows.

While John Cena could be a good option as well, but McIntyre's rage could prove beneficial against someone like the Undertaker who carries such a powerful presence.

With Roman Reigns reportedly out of the frame, Vince McMahon views McIntyre as a suitable replacement and that could eventually lead him to design his destiny and conquer the Undertaker.

#4 Becky Lynch, Bayley and Charlotte Flair unite to help Sasha Banks win Raw Women's Championship at Royal Rumble

The controversial ending to this match would be epic
The controversial ending to this match would be epic

Personally speaking, I have always wanted Ronda Rousey to lock horns with possibly one of the most talented competitors on the planet, Sasha Banks.

While Vince McMahon had other plans for the Rowdy One, the lack of viewership and the demand for something new has coerced the creative to put Banks where she belongs.

With both the two competitors colliding at the Royal Rumble, there's bound to be a point where the Boss snaps and does everything in her power to grab the gold.

An opportunity to win the gold and move on to WrestleMania 35 could lead any competitor to do the unthinkable and judging by the storyline that surrounds the women's division, this one's going to be a cracker.

Since the Raw Women's Champion cost Becky Lynch and Charlotte the SmackDown Women's Championship at WWE TLC, both the women could be looking to seek redemption at the right time.

Considering how popular Becky is, uniting with her former best friends to beat the hell out of the Rowdy One could signal something epic coming up for the Show of Shows.

At a time when the fans are demanding the company to put attention to detail, uniting the Four Horsewomen of WWE would eventually coerce the Rowdy One to bring her own faction to the frame and fight the good fight.

#5 Kenny Omega arrives in WWE and is announced as Brock Lesnar's challenger for Universal Championship

From one title to another, this man can run riot on Raw
From one title to another, this man can run riot on Raw

As strange as it may sound to all of you, there's a genuine possibility that Kenny Omega ends up joining Vince McMahon's billion dollar company.

Considering that he is in a favorable position and can certainly demand a lot of luxuries from the WWE, the company might just go out of the way and give him what he wants.

While the Boss may not give him the creative control he might be wishing, Mr. McMahon might certainly promise him a one-on-one match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35.

Since the Beast Incarnate has fared really well with guys of Omega's stature, he could really put out a classic with the Cleaner at the Show of Shows.

Kenny Omega's situation is probably more similar to that of CM Punk, where the company eventually had to give him what he deserves, with the Cult of Personality ruling WWE with the most coveted prize in sports entertainment.

Judging by the popularity of Omega, he certainly possesses all the credentials that would give the company the restart that they desperately need and would make up for all the wrong decisions that they took in 2018.

There's no denying that Vince McMahon might not take such a huge risk with Omega but stranger things have happened in the past, and with All Elite Wrestling also emerging out of nowhere, he just might give Omega the Universal Championship.
